Lol @ the guy who comes in every other month or so when AUD is highest to say bull bul bull since 2011 where were you in May or where where you in AUG i Banked 56K aug 17 short till last week and I know another member here who made 211K so keep coming in here with vague remarks as your have done since 2011... We appreaciate you analysis (sic) and look forward to more..

I was looking at the 4H and wondering how I could go short, but then I switched over to the 1H and I saw a better entry that will give me a tighter stop. Something I want to note is the trend lines crossing. I always see this happen, but never record what happens after.

1H, not the 4H like the filename would suggest.

Yeah, plan to heavy short this pair but with so many news can not decide the entry point.

For now I keep a small long from 1.03360 to keep me entertained.

I'm right there with you Ken! I had a rough last few days but decided to open a small short position. If we get more upwards movement I will scale in a new position every 40-50 pips up to 1.06 or so.

If 1.0650 is broken I will close out all of my shorts and re-assess the situation... To me this should be major resistance for AUD.

You can see from my chart below that we have been making lower highs on the weekly charts for the past year.

I am watching USD closely, and it has been very bearish since the NFP and Unemployment Rate on last Friday. If USD being bashed will lead to AUD rally. I still think the Fed will not announce stimulus but that doesn't seem what the markets perceive.

I think it's almost certain they will announce some stimulus, they just cannot not do anything, question is will it be another round of QE, low rate pledge extension, something else, all or some of the above...
Either way, although a fair bit has been priced in, fundies are pointing higher today and shorting still appears a suicidal strategy for intraday IMHO.

1.05 short closed @1.0460 +40 pips and added one more long. See if she's got the legs to keep jumping higher ;-)

Great Job!! Looks like she is tryingn to build a head and shoulders on the lower time frames. Waiting for New York.

Hello everyone,

Had a nice rest and got filled more on my short. We tapped the 78.6% i mentioned yesterday and was lucky to get filled on the full size here.. Still have a pending short a bit higher but here is the breakdown so far

Spot a bit up because of average up and Futures down a fraction. I had another 20.00 lot at 1.0484 area but took that off and put it higher in the current channel so right now I am content on this and will wait what ben brings for a possible fill of the last 70.00 before a period of consoldiation and then selling comes in.

and yes I expect NY to take us back to the 1.05 area again so this Profit on spot will not be like this in a few hours. But the name of the position game is waiting and setting a defined stop loss

If we can close below the lower channel tomorrow after Fed that would be a great sign for the bears... I suspect though today it will act as support untill tomorrow when we are not left in suspense any longer.

Okay, so with the lines crossing on the 1H, the cross provided a bump up. Price is now below the bottom line. There could be a H&S, and price could just go up to the next couple horizontal lines.

The top 4H line hasn't been touched yet.

Daily top line hasn't been touched, but the second top one has. Edit: The second top hasn't been touched, but the third. Forgot about the rogue line near the very top.

My entries may be a little too high, but I won't cancel them until price tells me to do so.

Haven't seen anything other than stop hunting and filling bigger longs. Should see fresh highs in silver/gold later in the session.

What does filling bigger longs mean? Does that mean closing long positions or adding long positions from the big players?
