125.22 Weekly Close
4hr chart
Nice double bar, join them and you got a pinbar formation on 4hr shown in red.
Daily chart
Last day candle looks like a "wannabe" pinbar which did close above 125.00 and tested the below 125.00 area which to me is indicates resistance switching to support.
Descending trendline broken.
Opened trade at 125.13 with sl at 124.80 (but will watch the trade for the next couple of hours ).
First target : 127.00 area.


Lets see how it works out !

This trade triggered Friday and when the daily closed below the weekly level that I was watching I manually closed the trade as this indicated my projected support area was no longer valid. Took a 0.2R loss on this one.

Pattern to watch on GBPCHF....would much prefer the horizontal support on the BRN, but the pattern looks pretty clean to me.

This one was on my WL too, but I was concerned by the fact that the pinbar is small, compared to the overall down trend (at least in my opinion...).
Moreover, though I wouldn't have consider this to take a short position, yesterday's candle and the one of the day before both closed below previous LCS (I agree, the close was weak, that is why I did not enter short either)...

I agree, it is far easier to analyse why it did not work after the fact...
I'm also facing some difficulties to balance the pros and cons of each trade...

As they say, keep watching...

1.25 RN and 1.2485 something previous minor HCR did not hold as support.

Anyone here a member of the Private Forum ? Im trying to find out some info from current or past members before I sign up. If anyone is, can you tell me what the Private Forum offers in regards to trading psychology. Seems as if I have a problem with this aspect of trading. I know they have a a guy - fijitrader, who does phsychology but to be honest I wasnt too impressed with the videos in the guests section. Any info would be great.

hi Dan,
i'm a former member of the j16 pf. the pf does not offer anything more (at least when I was a member less than one year ago) than the public former on the subject of trading psychology.

have you read anything from Mark Douglas? "The Disciplined Trader" and "Trading in the Zone" are two must reads I would suggest.
