everybody got their party hat on? the blue box happens more times then not usually. this don't always happen (apple didn't do this yet but it still can) oil has a pretty top.. but a break is still needed to confirm. eu bulls want to close above 2785 not below 84.

Talking about apple ..big day on Wednesday...despite QEs and etc I doubt we will get any sell off there until Apple Conference, is hard to find any of the big bastards without AAPL on their baskets....

In any case, Weekly break up is done and confirmed in the ES but testing strong R on the M or Q charts (last one before all time highs) so any pullback is more than welcome. A big FED disappointment with profit taking is the only option I see to reach those levels before elections...

lots of smart people out there. most much smarter then me. gasoline near 4$ and qe is talked about. the amount hired fell but the % of unemployed went down. e/c spikes. fuel demand lower. all we need now is for the ecb to raise rates, like in 2008. i wonder if the ecb bond buy is about = to the 2008 rate raise. things are different right? are they really?

i cant argue with that. just looking at a chart. and seeing setups that happen more times then not. i don't have the balls to s apple ect. w/o a sign. i don't have the balls to hold a fresh apple long either.

Gasoline $4 you better get use to...in Europe that battle was lost years ago ($4 will "buy you a "few drops" of gasoline).... oil is not going anywhere lower that $80 in the next 12 months and if by then there is any pick up on the economic activity in the real economy (US, Europe or China) we are going back to pre- 2008 levels faster than we went down....

Rates, look like the tittle for next year book. FED, ECB or BOE which one will go first ...that's for later...In my books we need to close this chapter first...

lol, dunno about $4 dollars a gallon, maybe $4 a litre would be news in europe, well uk at least...

yeah i see your point. but if i turn down the radio. the economy cant handle 4$ gasoline. and the shit will hit the fan. remember, its not 2008. the u.s. consumer is not holding a c/c this time.

Well, the economy usually adapts. I am not implying that right now $4 is not very high for the US but don't you remember only in the late 90s went Oil was at $9!!!! (lol ...$9 a barrel) and if I remember correctly a $1 a gallon in the US (correct me if I am wrong on that one)...and compare with the over $ 200 a barrel (in REAL prices [adjusted to inflation]) on the 70's.... and the US economy still survived/adapted and evolved stronger that ever....

Point is, the recovery any recovery in the US MUST come from different sectors not on those oil dependent ones. And second consumers must adapt to higher oil prices, either by less consumption (i.e driving a massive V8 4x4 to go to the "corner shop" and back home is not an option), more efficient cars or new technologies. I wish you can have both, cheap oil and massive waste and consumption but ..not now, not with US economy stuck in 1st gear.

that's your only gripe? all the worlds major economies owing more then they can pay back is no concern? then all the ones who are in better shape depend on the majors. and all the emerging are depending on all of the above. something has to give.. my guess is the ones with commodities and the biggest gun will win.

hell it was 23 pb this century. then we went to war in iraq (second time). we really showed them. they were all from Saudis Arabia. they spent a few million to fly. and we spend a few trillion.. and we punished them by raising the price of oil 630% in 2008.. 400% today... follow the money. sure we had crazies wanting to kill us. but w/o finance, throwing rocks alone wouldn't be a problem. w/o finance they couldn't fly. we fought 3 wars to protect a king.
