i was wondering what is the best way to join this fanstatic thread for somebody new to the thread , but not new to price action,

Is there any overall detailed list of steps n xpalantions on what this thread is about , listing all the abbreviations used within the thread(ct,pb,bbhc etc) , that could help shorten the learning time , since there are alots of pages here.

yes it is a big thread but you can get caught up pretty quick after reading the first few hundred pages

Hey Rust,

Price certainly looks like it wants to peel of anti USD across the board. I would like to see a strong 3rd bounce to confirm our pattern and trendline. Not wrong here, but just not quite strong enough for me

Hey Alex

I would still always look at pairs independtly. For the most part it's a lot easier. Pairs like the xxx/jpy pairs tend to give off better clues then some other pairs like gbp/aud vs gbp/nzd.

In this case gbp/nzd has a weekly pin right in the middle of a box. With not a lot of space to move. Our FTA is close and the pin is small.


Here is a chart with great james16 dynamics at play

BRNs, Boxing, PPZ of boxes. Real cool stuff. I love the tops and bottoms of these boxes.

Yeah i know you like to see that 3rd touch and i also do, because of that
But i like this one, because of the overall picture and confluence and you can see the 3rd touch upside down hehe It's swiveling just on the line it's a kind of confirmation, no ?

It is definitely an interesting one Rust. But I just will shy away if I am not very confident. I'll watch these and see what happens. Wait in the shadows for the setup that is most comfortable. You are using all the concepts correctly of course

Took this trade last week and it seems to be doing okay.

Took the upside break of the inside bar. The pair seems to have turned around a corner and did a PBT&CA a couple of weeks back. The inside bar offered a low risk entry and price seemed to agree with me

I closed around half of the trade at the weekly close..

Hi Jarroo please can you clarify for me something that I am not clear on.
On the recent NZD CHF chart the the HCR is on the top of a bearish candle. I appreciate it is at the highest point of the swing high. I had it in my head that HCR should be on the top of a bull candle (as that is where the candle closed) and the opposite way around for LCS (at the bottom of a bearish candle).
Or is this the the Damn Gaps and you do take the level at the highest point in this example.

I hope my question makes sense and thanks once again for your help, Alex.
