Top tip(s):

1. NEVER D/Load...you're breaking the law! If you "stream", you're only "catching the airwaves"...similar to listening to the radio. (no need to follow this advice...just don't ask me for bail money! )

2- Even if you have a blindingly fast internet connection (like me ), you're better off pressing "play"...then "pause" it right away. Let your cache fill (essentially a "temporary" d/load). Make yer popcorn...have a shite...wank...whatever passes 15-20 minutes...come back, and...

No matter how fast your connection is...sometimes the serving server (? ) can't keep up. Add in a wireless connection (my fave way to stream), and the above rings even truer!

The above to me is easy. This is where it gets more difficult, and requires more beer to think further...deeper. (Warning...COMPLETE speculation on my part)

2. I think there are MANY, many, many more transactions carried out in Yen/x than CHF/x. Japan exports WAY more ($$$) [<-not implying dollars...just "goods"] than the Suisse. CHF is a "safe haven" currency. Yen is a heavily traded currency...by necessity. Count up how many items you own that were made (or orchestrated) in Japan...and how many were made in Switzerland.

Not sure where I'm really going with that...other than...it seems a LOT easier for the SNB to control....argh...fak that...

It seems that BOJ...doesn't stand a CHANCE in controlling a "peg" of their currency. Toyota's international payroll/supplier payments ALONE will sink the BOJ's plans. Now add all the other Japanese companies to the mix.

Anyway...

that's true... but you need to factor in globalised supply chain sourcing, manufacturing, distribution, etc...

the uk exports a large quantity of toyotas, they're probably THE largest employer in derbyshire, they have a massive production plant there...
