Yeah. I actually wanted the original or the mtf version fixed but whichever it is since its based on the same code the others could be corrected too.

I meant I actually wanted the renkolivechart 3.3 or mtf renkolivechart 1.1 to display the same thing both in real time and after you reloaded it. And since mean renko is based on renkolivechart 3.3 the fix could easily be ported. I thought I was clear.

I get it now, I was confuse because i didn't know there was MTF renkolivechart 1.1.

What the MTF renkolivechart 1.1. do?

A single ea added to one chart it can generate 3 renko charts- like one 5 pips, another 8 and yet another 20 or whatever numbers. I thought I didnt need mtf but found a use for it.

I have a question ..i know it will probly simple and mosly cosed by my.
Can anyone tell my why does my chart look like this, when the other is normal??
The same thing seems to be hapening when i switch from my live to demo and i dont know why, can sobody help me??

Because you have your chart view in bar chart. Switch in candlesticks.

Thats not rly the point of what im saying, its not about the looks but why isynt it a full chart. I can only see so many price as show in the picture, cant see nothing more, cant go back with the price or anything

try to load more bars in the 1-min chart where you run the renko ea. (shut off autorefresh and press the curser back button on your keybord and hold your finger there untill the chart stops running backwards. then turn on autorefresh again. close your mt4. open mt4 again. now you have full history)

or.... press ctrl + home on the 1 min chart to get to the beginning of your history then apply your ea. ( saves the white finger holding the back button!!!!)

got a mean-renko system running. and now Im searching for renko box close alarm script/ea. is there any alarm-tool out there?

Hi ProfNuke.

I have attached a couple of indicators that may help you.

The New_Candle_Alarm will alert you when a new candle(Brick) opens.

The RenkoColorChangeAlarm will alert you when the brick has closed in the reverse direction of the previous brick.

hi guys,

im new to the forum and i'd like some clarifications on renko charts. i currently hold 2 demo accounts and have been using renko on both accounts quite recently for back testing.
i observe that although the brick sizes are set on the same no. of ticks + same time frame + same pairs, somehow the bricks are layered out differently. (Pls see attachment).

Why is this so? How do I rectify it?

My guess is, it's due to slight difference in broker's data. I can pick up the difference from two broker's bar charts you posted.

I am trying RenkoLiveChart_V3.2 EA version and I see wicks on every candle. So, Renko is just constant candle body not constant range. I suppose this is more a truthful display of price than the one not showing the wicks. Any indicator will be based on previous candles up to the current one. An EA based on the indicator could still issue a false signal since the current candle is not a Renko block until it closes. Am I getting it right?
Range Bar chart, on the other hand, is truthfully showing the price in constant increments.
I can't decide which is better.
