It is not very wise to expect successful long trade when the predictions are for bad news data concerning the corresponding pair. But to be honest , actually I did traded it no matter what I posted before that!

AWOL, Congratulations, this is a champion post! I couldn't have said it better myself. I know that in order to get "there" you had to slag off tons of emotional baggage and false information that you once took for gospel, and I know it wasn't quick or easy. Not saying you ever will, but you should print it out and keep it close to your PC, and then read it back to yourself any time you start having doubts -- i.e., start caring about your trades once the trigger has been pulled.

You are now in a place not many traders reach, and most don't even know exists. Enjoy.

The simplest piece of advice I can give to anyone who is currently in THAT PLACE of the world is against you....your system of indicators lead you on a false path to ruin......the trend, why oh why didn't it go up when it was meant to.......

Step back.

Strip everything down (except your underwear....keep that on).

Then ask yourself why make things difficult when you can follow a simple, structured system that requires no market knowledge of patterns, trends, bla bla bla....

Just a simple box......a simple box that when broken earns you money.

FH you should be ashamed of yourself for providing us with the chance to earn consistent profits, with only a bit of self study and without charging a dime....

Shame on you!.....

You too are exactly right!! ITs not until as a trader you can leave the emotions at the door, keep it simple, and dont change what your doing, whatever it is that has been successful for you that works....its just repeating it over and over and over.....tweaking is even very seldom needed. No body knows what the market will do, up or down, how far....so why does everyone try to guess?????? They like the carnival game, 3 guesses for a dollar! Carnies make alot more money than you think....

I've been reading my way through the thread for the last few days.
Still only about half way....so I'll refrain from asking stupid questions....that'll come later!!

Firstly want to say thanks to FXH and the team who've been working so hard the past year on this great system. It is really appreciated, I love it.

Haven't been trading for a week or so so when I came back yesterday the new indi was a lovely surprise. Peace of art as expected

One thing, if I change the stop loss (I know the guide said don't touch). It changes the number of CZ's formed. Is this right? This happens mainly on EJ.

Also, If my quick take profit is larger than the CZ + buffer that is formed, the Indi makes my quick TP the same size (as CZ + buffer). If that makes sense.

Casey, welcome aboard!

The indicator has some Easter Eggs that will only become clear after closely watching the indi do it's thing over several CZ's. I left them out of the Guide on purpose. Have fun finding them!

Sometimes all you need is a little faith. My stats showed staying in on the 4th trade is profitable....so I martingaled all the way and picked up profit after waiting it out since yesterday.

This system works....even slow, boring, nervous, uncertain markets.....this works.

Do yourself a favor and have a quick look at the interactive trading threads.....awash with predictions, debates and uncertainty.

We don't debate SSBO, we merely customize it to our preferences and unleash it on the market.....

Who cares really what meetings and news data is on the horizon.....yes some days its a long wait, sometimes a daily wait...other days its a case of switch on the PC and 15 mins later your TP is hit and you can go back to bed/start your day!

This will be my last post in terms of motivational/telling everyone how great the system is....I don't want to add unnecessary clutter or repeat myself.

LEAVE YOUR INDICATORS AND CLUTTERED CHARTS AT THE DOOR

EMBRACE THE UNUSUAL AND UNCONVENTIONAL

Done that? Right, now read the thread, manual box trade on a demo account and "IF" you want to...whack on the indicator and customize.

It is fun, I think the new Indi is actually coded very differently. But looks similar. I like it, need to play with it on demo through some newly formed CZ's. I've been talking to another SSBO member. As he pointed out this new Indi is dead accurate, the tiniest adjustment makes a huge difference.

Yes it was fun and it seems my broker wants me to trust the indie and not my overnight TP on 4th trade.

Just as i woke up it did not close the order at TP (image 1) so i set TP to a bit further down and manually took profit as it hit the indies target

Looks like the spread widened when it neared your TP ,a common problem

I would add an external sciprt/ea/indi, whatever you can find, which will close it for you at your desired level, in the likely event that this happens again and you are not around to close manually

I have to agree with awol about keeping the faith.

My GU moved onto its 4th trade and closed at t/p, after closure GJ became available, this one moved to within less than 1 pip of t/p and then reversed back into the box and out the other side.

Of course I should have taken profit manually but keeping faith with the system I let it run its course, t/p hit soon after on its 2nd trade. Live account.

One request that I do have FH for the new EA or subsequent version is to have the facility to select whether to take or ignore the first trade, might be usefull when optomising the EA to miss on the first trade and start the sequence with the 2nd one especially if after optomisation the 1st trade has a lowish 1st trade completion.

Greetings,

I’m new to the forex world. I started 6 months ago and got quickly discouraged as the indicators always deceived me. Took 3 months “off” which allowed me to sink in a lot of the general information I read (forex language, basic concepts of S/R, etc.). I decided to give forex a second chance and fell on this nice thread. I only started reading this thread last week and really like what I’ve read so far! That being said, I will not harass with any questions until I’ve read it through.

I still thought I’d drop buy and share my trades and experiences so far.

Enough with stories, here are my first trades (btw I prefer naked trading until I’m comfortable with what I’m doing before giving the EA a chance):

I'm still stucked on my GBPJPY trade with a different configuration...

Good morning fellow SSBO troops!

Just wanted a quick show of hands on something....On my GU and EU charts, CZs formed and trades triggered whilst I was asleep and so essentially I missed the boat getting in....

Do people tend to hop onto trades around the trigger point when PA is around or comes back to that area or do they wait for a stop out and enter on the second trade effectively with trade 1 stakes?
