Hi Emmanuel,
From what i understand, we should only trade strong APB candle. i think for short setup we should look for APB with no upper wick and also short lower wick with big bear body.

but I also want to take short on the 2nd candle because TDI price line already crossed below 50 and crossed below red signal line. right now I still wait for stronger bearish APB.

Plz advice.... Thnx in advance...

well, look at it another way, ... i.e. there is a lot of professional money and these can drive prices up and down. as retail traders we need to mitigate these sort of market conditions and manage our trades well.
we need to follow the market rythem and go with the flow.

it was a good H4 set up what you saw. but we must be aware that there are many stops below build up over the days and weeks.

Hi,

I think you need to read up on Heiken Ashi (HA) aka APB to have good understanding how to read the HA.

Post some some of your previous win and loss trades and we can discuss the setup and how the trades were managed.
Often losing trades are not becasue of poort entry but becasue of poor trade management.

Hi again Emmanuel,

Here is one of the trade i took for EUR/USD H1. the vertical line is LO. I took long position on the open of bullish APB exactly on LO.

Some considerations: it was the 4th bullish APB and also the TDI crossover happened few bars before LO.

Did I pick the setup correctly? Well that bar still possible to give me some profit (I put TP:SL = 1:1 so in this case TP not hit yet). But as you can see, it was the last uptrend bar. Another APB appeared but with lower high, then bearish trend started.

Is that a way to avoid entry near the end of a trend?

Hmm.. sorry for this dummy question. Is APB similar with Heiken Ashi? Previously I read a little about APB from the Synergy method...

Hi,

I think you missed the basic entry and exit of the TMS method by Big E.
Most entry are done on the 2nd candle after TDI cross.

In fact, your chart shows a very good potential Sell setup.

Just my comment;

Your chart is slightly different from mine. I am using standard candlestick color coded to Synergy APB.

I have drawn two white lines showing few hours before LO the price are ranging, and the trade is taken when it broke out of the range.

What are the conditions why this setup is a good potential?

Can you identify 5 conditions enough for you to take the SELL trade?

Back test and you will find many of such setup condition.

I just want to follow X-Man guidance to entry on the beginning of LO and not any bar before it to avoid fake price movement on Asian session....

The short setup would be taken later on NYO, as referred to the guidance.

You should not have entered here at all, your chart shows all the reasons why not.

1. TDI is at the 68
2. TDI is flat and signal line is flat. Enter when TDI is at 12.00 - 14.00 or 4.00 - 6.00 as per a clock.
3. The original cross of the TDI occurred 7 bars back if you have not entered within the first 3 bars, you need a good reason to.
4. Priceline bounced off the signal line 4 bars back from your entry, a bounce is an entry opportunity but not when it happened 4 bars back.
5. The Blue lines are Bollinger bands, if the priceline is approaching the upper Bollinger then you can expect a pullback, most of the time.
6. If that is a stochastic all scrunged up at the bottom of the chart, unscrunge it. The stochastic is a good cycle indicator, it looks like it was showing that price was at or near the top of a cycle.

And finally. LOOK LEFT, look for previous support or resistance previous consolidation.
LOOK RIGHT. Look for Round Numbers, and with the eurusd look out for numbers ending with 20 or 80 (4 digit) these often will stall PA.
Watch out for Pivots
If you know how, use fibos

All of the above will tell you when a trend is coming to an end.

These are what I can analyze:
1. there's a pullback before the signal showing the end of uptrend
2. the signal: strong bear APB
3. TDI yellow MBL < 50
4. TDI green cross red
5. price below big MA (200?)

Hopefully my answers are good enough or at least not entirely wrong

Also I want to ask: is it important to use price channel (two Smoothed MA5) that I am not allowed to entry until APB close above/below the channel?

Good example of perfect entry conditions. Donīt need to explain them as they are obvious. Got to go out so took 30 pips, price will probably drop further but, there is allways another one.

If you use the EMA5 H-L price action channel, it is conservative and your entroes will mostly be late.

TMS is an aggressive compare to Dean Malone Synergy system.

S3 is also aggressive and we are more relying on Price Action to jump into a trade when during the London session and NY sessions when we see volatility created by market liquidity.

See my chart fo 5 conditions to decide to take this setup.

There are other conditions too when I use candlestick patterns.
