Sorting charts in MT4?

Hey does anyone know of a way to sort the charts in metatrader alphabetically. Makes em easier to find if you have all tradeables up.

I know they tile in the same order you open them, it just seems like you should be able to rearrange them.

You can rearrange them by dragging them left or right to where you want them. Just click and hold the chart tab on the bottom and move it in the order you want them... very simple....

Yes but it only rearranges them temporarily. If you hit 'arrange vertically/horizontally' they revert to the previous order.

Gotchya.. When I read it I thought you was talking about the chart tab bar on the bottom, not the open chart windows. Anyway, You could probably set it up the way you want it and save it as a profile. If you open a new chart you will probably have to go through the entire process again. Other than that, I can't think of any other way to go about it. I don't have more than one chart view-able at a time so I'm not accustomed to managing the charts the way you do.

Lol, actually you've just been a great help.
When you mentioned that about the chart bar at the bottom it made me wonder and sure enough. If you drag a chart into a new location on the bottom bar and then go to the menu and hit 'Tile Vertically/Horizontally' it will set them in the new order.
