The seasonal charts are on all trading platforms they are nothing special. Just go back say 10 years for whichever pair you are interested in and note what they did each month, if you see a pattern appearing then you have found the cycle.
Some people say I'm lucky, but the more I practice the luckier I get

- question is will this support be broken or we au bounce
it's looking like with this new h4 candle being below s2 price is going towards s3 1.0454

Long AU @1.0290, SL 1.0255. Hoping for a bounce at 200 EMA..

PA continues to respect the Fib Fan 50 level on its way down, we have a very nice divergence on the 4H MACD histogram. I still want to see PA reach the 61.8 level of the normal Fib tool before beginning my attack.

Have not done on E/U weekly or A/U at all.

Check if Stoch bounced on 50 and turn up for A/U, may have to tweet the fib to go the other way (up in your chart instead of down).

Just wondering if instead one could look to sell at high + 161.8 extension in those cases: have a look at Monthly AUD/USD on 1.8.2009's stoch peak that bounced at 50 level. Starting further investigation on other pairs and TFs...

(Also because given the 50 cross occurs when price is lower, taking that same candle to plot the 50% wouldn't give enough scope to the fibs beyond the peak candle...)

Why do I get the feeling that the bullish divergence we have on H4 isn't going to help the bulls a lot today...

I was expecting a decent correction for today, but I can't seem to find anything that could lead us to it, everything is pointing down as for now...



Maybe the Europeans would change my view...or maybe the Yanks

Are we heading for 1.0216 or even 1.0150?

Time will tell..........

Flat until Sunday however would again consider selling if it goes to 1.0350/60.

Tomorrow is Friday and we could see some handsome profit taking in view of the other indicators (after some more consolidation at the present level and then at the fandango zone, maybe) ... and besides we DO have now a double bottom in H1 (forgot to plot). Quadruple bottom on M5.

The thing to learn when trading divergence on the larger TF's is price over time will always return to where the divergence started. So while I want the price to drop down to the 1.02/1.0235 level (to get a better EP) before I start to attack, I do expect the divergence to take the price back up to the 1.04 area over a period of time.

Now with the positive swaps and using low leverage I would like this trade to even drop down to below parity, because I would just keep adding at key support levels. If this trade could then last until the middle of October before getting back to 1.04 area, just think how much interest you would get from the swaps.

I find trading divergence in this way less stressful than trading with SL's, it takes a while for traders who don't believe in the power of divergence to feel comfortable when trades keep going against them, but providing your lot sizes are not too big (sometimes trades can go 1000+ pips against you before returning) for the size of your account there should not be a problem.
