DislikedPauladkinsau, in below linked post you talked about a change in Chinese leadership in October. Is there a set date? Is bad data likely to be leaked in the lead up to the change, just after or not at all? Thanks & sorry for late reply, just been catching up on the weekend's posts.

There is no set date. There are actually 2 meetings - the 7th plenum and the 18th Party congress. They deliberately keep the dates private, but I can tell you, the numbers of security people around the streets of Beijing has increased in the past few days (or perhaps I am just noticing them more).
The new leadership will be revealed in October, but the meeting to rubber stamp the selections will take place soon. And the horse trading and negotiating and jockeying for positions has been going on for some months.
The only thing we know for certain is, Bo Xi Lai won't be in the Politburo or the Central Committee. (Neither will I for that matter, but then I am not a member of the Communist Party... oh, and I am Australian.)
Cheers,
Paul.
