I am long Dollar a boat and a half here in anticipation of Sept1 QE announcement but I don't even know if we will make it 10 days trading so near a 3month support....Took some of the short off here in case we do break lower. Will put the remainder back on once we are solid above 82.20 and RSI starts to turn on the majority of TF's

Futures side we just bounced off of 88.6% ABC retrace if we trade through and close below this level the next target lower 1.0339 is inevitable

We just traded through the Sunday open 1.0407 lets see if we hold I think because of RSI we will bounce at these levels and maybe even trade upwards Until Fed that is.

Otherwise 1.0339 here we come 1.0363 for AUD/USD side

You havve to love the fed. They are really forcing my hand on Long dollar here. I cut half the position and the hedge is sitting at 0.8:1

I have to keep get through one more week and start adding again a few days before Sept1 but if this trade does not work out I will have to move on and close out.

Man EUR goes up Aus folllows

Still Aus was meant to hit lower levels

All I can do is watch an see if this keeps climbing

Knowing my luck this the up trend move an I missed the move

It's a big move, directly affecting the USD. This news won't fade for at least until the end of the week. You can hope for a shitty PMI tonight which will take the AUD down a peg, but other than that, I'd stay off, chill for a minute, and get on the trend train. Plus, that's a sexy Double bottom at 1.0410. If it breaks the neckline, bears are gonna be poached.

I agree on this premise. If we break this neckline I am out of the DX long, AUD short. I am hedged today on weekly options but its not smart to tie up capital when all this action is happening.

I believe qe3 will not come in Sept1 but holding these posiitions until that date has proved flawed.

I agree (with the double bottom), but it depends on what time frame you are looking at. there is a 4H channel that the audusd is following fairly well and its unlikely that the double bottom will push through that later tonight when the market is really moving.

This pair's looking like a good short here at 1.0504. 1.0530 shouldn't be touched. Target is 1.0295.

It is now above the 200 MA but this was obviously due to the FOMC minutes this morning. So it has a good chance of more upward movement as it has broken out of its channel.

However, QE is already being priced into the markets so once the FED announces that they will not do any additional QE this year it will go back down.

The above is only my opinion.
