had a proper job come up for a couple of months Ken, so decided to totally take a break from ye olde currency trading...

Just turned one year old to the day yesterday.

Quiet of late. Few of the regulars on summer break...plenty of fresh faces around. Doing a bit of external work myself these days, so not around that much either. Another couple weeks of summer and hopefully all (big and small) bastards will be back in front of the screens.

Still have the trading bug? Surely not hanging them up?

certainly possible but that would require a huge jump in EURAUD and its already somewhat overbought (in short term)

cable has a barrier at 5800 but i think that was broken today so that is possible as well

its almost inevitable that the dollar sells off in the days before FOMC

reason being speculation, it gives an excuse to move the market, and at the same time is advantageous in both that if there is QE3 or some hint of it (there won't be imo) the longs already got great prices, and if there is no QE3, everyone got to take profit and go long and then short again at a higher spot,

so its a win win to speculate and then "sell the news" and that's why i think it happens so often. buy rumor, sell reality as i have also heard it put

Just got filled on a PO at 1918. Prepared charts a while ago...will review if I need to change them. Got a little side tracked with an Archie sighting () and a few PMs...back in a few.
