In my opinion -Yes, they are! Its just some are only good for short term (up to only few minutes) while other start to kick in after a few days. I also knw that sometimes the market goes its own way without paying attention to fundies, but I think that the major fundamental news are what driving the main trend, and not technical analysis.

I'm not saying that technical analysis isuseless or anything, but I do think that a long term trader should utilize both technical and fundamental analysis together. If you are a short term trader, then just technical might be enough. I think of myself as a medium term trader as I trade intraday but I also have positions opened for a few days and up to 2 weeks. So, I do pay attention to technical alerts as well as major fundamental news (But don't follow me on that, I'm still learning them myself)

i gave up thinking. it cost too much. let me clarify.. i don't use my thinking to trade. i didnt say i would s 0510. i did say i wouldn't until it gets there min. there variables that could change my perception. i don't know what it will do. it does go back to 0510 more times then not. its 0510 because of where its at in the b/o below 0437. its also norm to go higher.

it might hold but with this kind of PA any thing gos , mind the top of atr is gator number 501 i will keep an eye on both and equities too ,

one thing for sure no bottoms or tops the market will show us the path
