Banana, if short term trading consistently not working for you maybe you should try a longer time frame? Just a thought......

I had been watching and trading a demo account for about 2 years before that, but the problem is I was following the pound/yen a lot and not really the AUDUSD.

Let me give you my 2 cents as well.
The demo cannot replace the live account.
All the pairs are the same. They all follow the Law of the Market. It is what it is.

I know that most of you don't trade fundamentals, but still, has anyone read RBA meeting minutes?

I don't really understand much in finance, but from what I could understand was that Australia is still doing good, despite all other countries scrambling for their pennies. Even though China's economy is slowing down, Australia's is not... yet. In my opinion AUD/USD has a chance of breaking 1.06 and go somewhere to 1.065-1.07 by the end of next week. I can't say now, but I would try shorting somewhere at that level, and IF RBA decides to cut rates i'll be ready for that, if not - then I better get out before its too late...

These are just my 2 cents.

Break even is already a mile stone.. At least your not blowing accounts, you need to analyze what you do wrong, and see how you can fix it, do one thing at a time.

My 2 cents is that before and after the news until now I have had no ideas about what that minutes is. So are fundies important?
