The reason I said nobody is wrong in the market is because I like positive thinking. Also, nobody would say that he was wrong too soon or too late in the markets. Within a nutshell of this positive thinking, there are still wrong entries. Someone once said, "Good judgement came from good experience. Good experience came from bad judgement." In terms of this saying, I'd say even I made a wrong entry, as long as I learned from this bad judgement, the end result would still be a good one. IMHO

The MACD histogram is starting to build bearish hidden divergence and the 15M chart is showing continuing bearish divergence.

Depends how big your accounts is and how big your lot size is.
For me anything less then 50c a pip becomes boring and not worth the effort. People place .10C lots and 10x1 dollar. Come on that would put me to sleep.
I think of money earned in trading should be divided up how much time one puts in.
If you made 50 a week but spend 60hrs on screen time that's less then 1dhr
Minimum wage in states is $8....One could of made more money flipping burgers
Your style of trading makes sense if you can endure massive negative interest accumulating in weeks plus trade going against you.
Soon or later you may take that massive loss and wipe out weeks and weeks of profit...
In trading, you have to be defensive and aggressive at the same time

OK I now understand your logic and want to learn more from members of this thread regarding their trading judgments. I try to post mine when I see something that is of interest to me on the charts and that is hopefully in advance of any pending move, thus through sharing my judgment other can debate my logic.

I trade in a way that I am neither a Bull or a Bear, I just let the charts tell me which side of the trade I should be in at any given time and I post accordingly.

Very true the size of your account is important and I did state a while ago that I felt to trade for a living without taking large risks all the time requires a 6 figure account.

Don't be misled by my user name. I am neither a Bull nor a Bear. That is the reason I have different views from your current bearish stance. Regardless of what I am thinking, I would respect others' opinions. We are here because we all have different views. If there was only one voice, nobody would be here.

I did not think that you was a Bear (in the trading sense), but I find your views cryptic and somewhat difficult to understand, thus making it hard for me to learn from them or debate their logic.

every timeframe is showing a different thing, until the volume of that favored direction kicks in to bring the bear or bull to the next level.

Normally, I wouldn't use M15 to gauge next move unless scalping. In order to compare apple to apple, I have to use M15 ADX as my gauge. Since your post, the ADX has been on positive territory. I really don't see a bearish sign up to this point. In fact, I am looking for a big move later.

1.0455-57 is a weak level to short previous support turn resistance, 1.0476 area was the break to 1.0410.

hour 4 looking good for bull. frankie could gives some surprise

Sorry my post was not clear I see hidden divergence on the 1H, so I then look no more than 2 TF's lower for conformation, where I have found continuing divergence.

I have attached a chart of how ideally I would like to see the hidden divergence build, before considering a short trade.

To be honest with you, I have never tried to make my views cryptic or somewhat difficult to understand. The fact is that the Forex market is cryptic and very difficult to understand.

I have never expected using English to understand the computer programing languages. By the same token, I wouldn't use normal thinking to understand such a market. Anyone who tries to master this market with logical thinking would not be able to understand my views even I use plain English to explain the real meanings in a very lengthy article.

I am seeing a MACD bullish divergence on Friday. Today, there is no MACD divergence.

Well for me a least they do seem cryptic, but I am not the sharpest tool in the box.

I try to post what I see based on what I have learnt over the years, I am a technical trader that keeps an eye on the fundamentals, but mainly when trading lower TF's. I want to become a more knowledgeable trader and try and understand what others look for and see, but at the same time I stick to my style because it works for me.

I am not saying my 1H chart is showing Regular or continuing divergence, I am saying it is showing hidden divergence a completely different animal.

Hey Robot Trader,

I have been trading for a while and use regular divergence quite often as an additional tool to verify signals. I have also seen this term hidden divergence floating around for a few months quite a lot more than ever before. Could someone explain to me what hidden divergence is or looks like on a chart?
