On my chart that is just below the lower bullish trend line. Is it because of the previous low around the 1.0440 area of 02/08/12, supported by the previous high of 10/07/12? Thinking double bottom?

This is by far the longest weekly bearish candle since end of May, not to mention last week's Doji candle..

Doji last week + followed by long bearish candle this week = ??

s/l below 0436?? i think aussie wants the low print of the last retrace as we already bounced 70 pips off of 0450
