Hi dab. There's still some activity here. It's definitely worth reading the first 3,000 or so posts slowly to absorb the material. A lot of very good advice. I'd also suggest paging through the rest of the thread, stopping every time you see a chart. There's nothing new in forex, but this is probably one of the best threads on ff.

Great to have you in this thread. Please post as i would like to see this thread come back to life.

As Bklyn mentioned, reading through the first posts will help you understand this method. Look at every single chart example and burn them into your memory. U'll pick up the concept in no time.

Any good trades lately? Traded EUR/USD earlier and took a bounce off that 1.2291 level. scalped 15 pips and ran. Its still climbing though. But now its hitting the 38% retrace. of the last move down from 1.2384 - 1.2284.

Here is something for your consideration. And If you go down to the four hour you will see a nice rejection of that upper diagonal.

Hi at all.

I've read a lot in this forum and finally signed up today. I always liked this thread the most.

Today I entered these:

AUD/USD short @1.04660; I took half the profit @11 Pips (too early but you never know...), by now it's 25pips in the green

USD/JPY short @79.520; It's still fighting, I took it a little bit too late, because I wasn't at the computer. I know, this is a no-go. It's also a bucket pattern to me, 79.570 would have been a good entry; As I enterey too latte I closed the position with minimum profit. Better save than sorry, I hate losses.



A few days ago I entered USD/JPY long @79.104 and took 45 pips (50% @20 pips).



EDIT: AUD/USD got stopped out at break even, USD/JPY would have been a solid one.

Just took a short on this one. First time for a hit on the 61 fib line from the last swing down.

On the daily will look for a bounce around 102.60 then a short confirmation at a close below 100.717.

Im a bit new at traiding, and the pdf helped me a lot about what i see on the chart.
Now i start to spot some good levels and i want to ask you all about my lines.
Everyone is welcome to criticize.

What do you think about this violet lines in this chart?

I think the spike after the purple lines make no sense
A 1 pip gain is better than a 1 pip loss.

Are those arrows on MT4 platform or done from a print screen?
A 1 pip gain is better than a 1 pip loss.

it is far better to go with a trend with this method. pays more chances for success are better. stop loss also can be a bit wider as well as targets when going with a trend. I do not think 20-40 pips stops are a good idea. more like 1 ATR or 100 pips depends upon which pair.

At resistance it breaks. There is an Up Thrust but no follow throught down.
At the retest of the resistance there are two bars market like spring it means there is some buying at resistance now support. Because the market is supported by buyers.
Chart 2 supports are all well defended. Higher highs and higher lows inside the range.

Short NZDUSD based on double top with second top lower and break beneath previous low.
