Lots of noise, all day on Spain. Something is cooking in the background for the next few days....

ES has a few ticks left to strong R (yearly highs) but untradable if you are not already long .... day almost over across the the board.

Tomorrow 1/2 of Europe (but not London) on bank holiday in the summer so thin market guarantee for prolly the last 100% "summer trading" week before we start getting back to normal....

if oil breaks back under 340 - i reckon another test of lower 200s

Was a good call, I missed it too Was waiting around for the NYfix to take it to 1580 but never happened... volume kinda faded away. As G said something is up and looking at the seasonal charts this kinda happens in gold before the big move (keeping in mind that it is election year so that could screw some thigns up)

I also had 2328/2325 and 2323 as hidden supports on EU... those seem to be in play ... 28 just got hit now test 25 and last time 23 got protected so lets see if the last hour has enough strength to push through.

So spoke to FXCM and they say that the bank usually will hedge your trade in market which is why the price may shoot up when you sell or go down when you buy (in the tick chart)... makes sense but sucks bigtime for us retailers... only way that we trade direct is if we prob trade $50 mill or more and bank probably assumes your informed

I did the test atleast 5 times... and 2 more this morning lol liek I said its not a coincidence. I've noticed this every since I started trading but didn't really care too much to investigate... u can see for urself... trading upwards of 1 lot will make it jump a tiny bit 0.1/0.2 pips and during low volume more... depends I think too on how many market makers are on trying to hunt stops.

This morning I dumped 6 lots and it shot up half a pip right away... it was like wtf..

sid i worked for boa the zero's i seen you would not believe forget about 1 lot's mate - what you are doing is getting yourself maybe in the long run a bad mental habit by watching the market in the way you are experimenting - we have to allow for dd trying to catch the top or bottom will drive you insane and it wont take long either so look at your dd with mm and say trade off the 5min - blimey as if it aint tough enough
