I'm looking forward to AU going back up to 1.0525 and then around 1.057. After that, price could fall freely or go up more beyond 1.06, but not too much.

Can you please explain why it should go up to 1.0600?

Tomorrow is a holiday in France, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy and other parts of Europe. With liquidity thin, there are chances of some crazy wild swing.

Well, I didn't say price should go up to 1.0600. If it breaks 1.057, then that's a next logical place I can see price going. These levels are based on supply and demand imbalances.

As I read everything here it has improved my skills.

I have been up all night drawing bears an cows an all sorts of weird stuff.

I was thinking the same except that it could visit the 1.0550 - 1.0560 area that's been sloshed around last couple days (H4 chart I'm talking about)
..Finally, it has happened ... EUR/AUD broke the daily down trend line and also looks quite double bottom-ish on the H4. I think this is bearish for the AUD, I wish I wouldn't hate shorting AUD because of the swaps.

Unloaded a little of this short, house payment due on the 15th...

Which way is it going now ? I got some pending sells at the daily pivot. It may not retrace, oh well..go with what I've still got on the short side.

I expected more waterfall through 1.0495.

104.40/50 area should be the next bounce (104.35 lows) or attempt at trend continuation

I took 1/2 profit just now as well @ 104.87 (+102 pips)
Be hopeful in a winning position, and fearful in a losing position.

Yes...its one of the better habits I've picked up to unload half and ride the other half. Takes a lot of stress off too once you unload the 1st half. Reduces blood pressure HA

Yes I don't think I would be successful without this strategy, as when I cut the full winner, it keeps running, and when I don't, I lose the profit I already had (it reverses). It's almost inevitable.

Plus it was 2/3 of the way to my target (150 pips) so it's close enough to take 1/2 profit

Also taking half profit allows you to not have to set the rest S/L @ BE (especially helpful if your entry wasn't that great as if it wasn't great, a S/L @ BE will likely get taken out)

An example of this is when Aussie bounced from 104.95 up to 105.80 area, if I had a stop @ BE it would have almost got hit, my stop was above 106 though)
Be hopeful in a winning position, and fearful in a losing position.
