I highly doubt that.

The EUR/AUD is driven by both the EUR/USD and AUD/USD not the other way around. The USD is the fundamental basis of exchange for all currency pairs.


However, I did already say a few days ago that the smart money(Institutional guys) are already covering their AUD positions while the dumb money is buying the AUD. Which is why we have seen the inability of the AUD to punch through 1.05 level as there was still some demand.

We will probably wait for the dumb money to cover their losses before the AUD goes back on the uptrack.

just a thought ...could be a good place for the market to come in and start buying again...I did at 1.0490...

Not quite sure EUR is the driver with EUR weakening against the USD, more likely AUD weakening across the board, which for me is a much better sign for a much bigger correction or possible trend reversal.

Risky... Good luck. Keep in mind the new resistance is 1.0500. Hope it works for you, if you did indeed buy.

If it can hold below the 1.05, it may mess around forming a Flag and then break down
