DislikedWhat a storm!
Toronto is getting ROCKED!!!
The Beach...where I live...many direct lightning strikes. I have a 25/30 y/o black walnut tree off my back deck... bending...all kinds of strange!
Looks like a monsoon/hurricane...but that doesn't make any sense!

Dislikedo man that was some much needed sleep... i hope everyone did well.
i shorted some eur/aud 1675 last nice and its still running... i thought the ny bounce was gonna retrace the whole thing lolIgnored
DislikedI closed partials at "the right time"... we trade a bit differently. I've been working on smoothing the equity curve out a bit more lately.
Every entry I take, I split into 3 orders. All of the same SL, but each get separate TPs: one conservative, one logical, and one optimistic.
It's been working well all week as recouped all of last week's red pips and got green for the month as a whole.Ignored
DislikedI joined you on that one. I actually had a third order in at 1.1695 but never got filled on it
These are gonna be "set and forget" entries for me though. I think it's just a matter of time (early next week) before the bottom falls out on EUR/USD and it takes EA with it. Below 1.1600 opens up all sorts of options.
I'll be happy collecting my swap, moving my SL down as I see fit, and adding here and there on pullbacks.Ignored
Dislikedthats a very good way to get around frustrations in this market....noting worse than having your whole position in 1 order and waiting all week for it hit then missing by 20 pips and having it retrace half the move...Ignored
Dislikedback on last friday high now line in sand with div. on m5 and pin close just now r/t of 550 ish seems likelyIgnored
DislikedYup, exactly! I did that last week with EA. I had a bunch of entries and a pretty logical, yet optimistic TP. Only problem was... we had that run up to the high 1.17s and I wasn't about to risk letting all those entries turn to losers all of a sudden.
Long story short, $19k in paper profits (at the peak) ended up being ~$4k realized. Ugh.
So... I'm changing up my order management strategy. It's much more manageable mentally!Ignored
Dislikedok ...I will have a look in other sources to see if I find anything related...
See the bastards ...there were just waiting until everybody was ready to close the week and enjoy a drink outside to start the move ....... let see how it goes until London goes home...
