The market is slow allright but there are jumps and starts to the downside right now. I am waiting for the euro to retrace up before jumping in with a short. Maybe next week.

Low volume august is hard to trade as its to stop starty moves happen eithout warning then no real movement.

Role on august and much more time to trade.

It's all pretty much irrelevant, it moves because it wants to so never try to understand it, often news has the opposite effect of what you'd expect.

Move importantly, missing a nice rally
Made a few pips on that upmove yesterday as I had a buy order placed, had a feeling it would bounce from the area in the screenshot, came home and was quite a few pips in the green!

It's impressive you can't seem to lose and I can't seem to profit, when I joined this thread I was in my cant lose mode, you stolen my mojo

Up more or less pips from day trading ? I presume less cash value unless you really ran the account up.


3 weeks of school holidays and summer doldrums to go then better market and more time and game on!


Monday and Friday set aside for trading next week but we shall see.

I do lose lol I really need to get back into the mentality of wanting to trade, I've slacked off massively recently, purely down to the boredom if I'm honest.

Id be rich already if not for the boredom and just not trading for months even a year the once.

Keep upping those lot sizes and restrict / force yourself to 2, 2 hours segments per day uk best time and US best time.

8 hours sat looking at charts will never end well.

My plan is close out above 60 pips hopefully well above then call it a day.

$60 per day at first then up the lot size, I can make a living at $2 per pip at 60 per day build it upto $10 and I'm laughing.

I need to be trading $2+ and hitting the 60 or there abouts by the end of September, sooner would help.

closed for +28

May look to short at the 1.2331 - 1.2345 area should PA change.

Thats what I did when I first started out, started small and worked my way up

I reckon most of it was down to luck.

GU short @ 1.56996. Low risk

SL now at break even currently +13 up

Spotted a few good trades today but git tasked with kids for an hour or 2 currently 3 1/2 woman.

Cracking market all am loads of nice intraday swings, I get in and manage to eeckk 4pips out of a GU trade JUST.
