My R1 stands at 2447 to be precise, move started yesterday from S1 2345 by rejecting that level so this would be a natural move between pivots,

This could be a possibility for such a pathetic bull move - cannot see real supply at present levels as well. Strong bull would be way over 2450 by now wouldn't it?

I closed EJ and standing aside, these are not levels I want to go in.

These pivots are calculated and depend on your broker data so will be differences 3/5 pips but give me general idea where to place my trades

Yeah I have Pivot there as well... but price didn't touch it in my liquidity pool... and more importantly on Globex where we can see volume... order sizes.... high was 1.2442....

That is your broker front running a few pips or with a wide spread showing a tap on the actual pivot....

Yesterdays high of 2444 more important in placement of orders than the pivot...

btw if anybody fancy negative carrybut a longer trade GBP/AUD hit its bottom and is ready to go - which can suggest some AUD weakening
I was screeming in main eur/usd thread in may when top was made to short and it is a great chance for carrie trade and didn't get one responce. I personally placed short but was stoped and due to my wide spread on this pair I didn't enter again - a very good lesson indeed.

Its helpful if you include time frame in your screen shot or text.

Hi ....

For a long time I have been wondering here and there in search to find some place except where I currently hang out to share my trade views at , and a place with healthy atmosphere ... I am glad I have found this place ...

I been a member of J16 thread for quite a while now ..

I trade supply and demand + Hybrid of PA from J16 ... I hate indicators from the core of my existence ... I do not even like using divergence because it is indicator based , plus I can spot divergence without the indicator , so no big deal ... I only trade Higher time frames , Daily and above ( 95% of the time Daily ) ... I Don't even use H4 ... Its weird saying this my self but as I am just introducing myself , so , I am handy at what I do ...

Sometimes it gets quite here but boys write quality post rather than blank nonsense - I personally appreciate that.
We are open for anybody who is willing to share and having a healthy discussion, trading method is not important as people are different so are the trading styles,

@ Crassius - that's daily chart I'll keep that in mind - I am a bit paranoid with revealing numbers & names

My EU short from yesterday closed @ 90 so happy with that.

I see that cable is just nudging the hourly lower TL hopefully provide a bounce or break opp.

EU and dax are also very close to lower TL .....

Inside day yesterday shows continued indecision and possible short term reversal cue.

With little in terms of news flow or economic releases to move the pair, I look to equities and especially my preferred benchmark for risk appetite the S&P 500 to provide direction for the pair.

I have already shorted S&P at 1400 as earlier noted through a Put option with some time to breath. We did manage to close yesterday above 1400, and I almost expect traders to now try to challenge nearby 2012 highs that also coincide with a channel boundry at this time.

I will take qualified day trading entries in either direction today on EURUSD, but prefer shorts as a am looking for a pull back, but will have to wait for S&P to lead the way or some news to provide the fuel, as we are drifting aimlessly in thin August conditions.

Nice level for that option

I took some GU shorts on the break of the hourly lower TL average entry 1.5589

and also EU 1.2382

so I really want to see cable close below the line 1.559x in 19 minutes time for further confirmation
