you don't need to have more then 50% winners then losers.. to be "successful".. You can have 70% losses and 30% winners and still be successful, It's all about if your winners surpass your losses!

Hey palabara how's it going...you know way back when I first started trading demos that's exactly how I use to trade ... just make 15 to 30 to 40 pips and I was out..then I would look for another entry to do the same and it worked like a charm...I have no idea when I started to always look for big moves ...thanks for reminding me...could be what I need at the moment...

the small moves always work the best, because there is plenty of them all the time, in any session.. and they add up very quickly. This week, I did over 120 pips already, and its only Tuesday! Well In NY it is still tuesday LOL. but, yeah.. small moves, you can find an entry at any given point.. of a bounce or a trending market or anything, and they add up.

Koool, if you can make money jumping in and out every 5 minute bar, more power to ya. Everybody has differing definitions of short term trading. To some people an hour is a long time and to others a day or two is a short time. The bottom line : let your profits run and cut your losses short.

In choppy range bound markets thats good but in a trending market on a daily/weekly chart you leave lots of chips on the table jumping in and out. Let your profits run and cut the losses short.

I use 30M charts to see an "emerging" entry.. and then do my due diligence. Every position is carefully planned and calculated, for possible rewards vs possible risk..

Need to know, the range and use higher charts to calculate that.. It takes a lot of work, but.. My goal is to raise the lot size while keeping everything the same.. eventually, If I can do $30 pip.. and the amount of pips.. I'd make thousands a week! but, it takes time and discipline to raise lot size and keep everything the same.

Wait, price is at 1.054, isn't it? I am not long yet, but if I can find a suitable SL, I am. That's if price doesn't go up before! Maybe a SL of 1.052? This one is tricky. My TP would be 1.06, maybe.

I'm anticipating price to turn around real quick to make a new low. Though, because it's going to hardly be a new low, it's going to go up afterwards. I've marked when and where with the cross-hairs, but that's only an estimate.

Maybe then I can get my RR.
