I'm short in AUDUSD @ 1.05. and next week there are some important events for AUD. The Cash Rate on 7th. Would it go further up if it met the estimated value 3.5%?



Technically, what are the possible scenarios in your opinions

Minor retracement or sideways ranging possible early sunday/monday/tuesday. Then a big move as trend continuation. Clear path to the next fib extension level. Medium term speculation. Just my .02. See my post here:

wow... Then it might be a good idea to close my short position with the retracement. and starting selling from 1.07 till 1.1 .... and then watch it drop to 1.01 or maybe .096

in your opinion how long this deal could take?

New to FF, not to FX. Just a chart. I shorted 105.30 and banked it but at the moment seems to be no mans land to me.

106.75 is about where the down trend is. I will scale in some shorts near there.

It's not a fib level, the descending trend line from about a year ago comes in @ 1.0688/90 and we should get a bounce there.

Yeah could be another major supply zone, don't expect it to the pip tho. +-50 pips if we're talking about a major trend reversal. Those need fundamental changes which could include a major breakthrough in European sovereign debt struggle and further RBA rate cuts, none of which I can envisage in the next couple of weeks.

I am little surprised how little this pair gets attention here.Its on dangerous level to collapse and retrace or reverse 100-300 pips or more
Leaning very strong SHORT on 57. Overall sentiment is that of caution going up since there is no fundamental reasons for this pair to climb pass 60

I see Aud/USD and overvalued NZD/USD as prime target for my shorts.

Take your time and find good entry.

Agreed, not an exact number for sure, I'll be looking for weakness in the 1 hr & 4 hr charts
