Yes palabara, i think your views, db's and plenty of others views are always helpful. Not to take signals from or anything like that but to see things from different perspectives

Yes, I see the channel, and that was one thing I played with last night, but putting a channel in place seemed to reduce the effect of the parabolic curve. By extending it (warning - projection coming) I see the early 1.06s, possibly getting as high as 1.065. But the curve suggests to me that the bulls are getting weary of pushing the pair up. They are due to withdraw their support shortly, based strictly on that chart.

BTW, I spoke with a trader friend of mine yesterday, who doesn't come to ForexFactory, and he told me he is short at 1.03. Reminds me of all the wise words on here last week, about stops and strategy and blown accounts. My friend doesn't use stops at all. Not wise.

On the fundie side, we will have China's CPI and PPI later this week. I am expecting both to continue to fall. CPI probably around 2.0%-2.1%. But I suspect this has been priced in already, so apart from the initial flutter, the market probably won't move too much as a result.

look like it's going to find its support/retrace now.

fallen off 1-5-15min upward momentum on my chart tl from 1.0564 area. unless it rejects and form a pin.

I might also add here that the only reason that I post any info about what I have done, is to give traders a bit insight into my thinking. I will never post a setup for the purpose of guidance and also highly suggest no one take a trade based on my charts, numbers or statements. By the time someone reads the post, the potential entry based on my setups would have easily passed.

Hopefully by reading each others thought processes, we can all find useful material that can be incorporated into our own strategies.

i just want to post an update. I closed my short around the support mentioned earlier. I couldn't devote the time it takes to trade and glad I took profit very quickly. so im out until, i scout another entry, when I get a chanse.

hey, yeah, I didn't want to risk it. I really wasn't planning on trading. just it was a good entry point.

quick commentary..

So the Euro went up to 1.2442ish area.. I believe that was a stop hunt, used to knock out positions for all the shorts that we're built up for a move down lower.. Courtsey of Market Makers! Used Asiasn session, to knock out all those shorts and trigger all those stops before it quickly retraced back down, as they rode it down after.. take money.

Aussie, has danced around the resistance of 1.0581ish.. and the start sliding down lower.. its trading now at the support level, a breach lower will give us more room down.. but, untill it gets back out completely out of 1.05 will be in range in 1.05 - 1.0581.. It should last long.. Right now.. even though it sagged down.. there is "no gurantees" it won't go towards 1.06xx be vigilant, and if your shorting keep stops above 1.0581 resistance.

my indication is slowly building that a trend down is in the works, but its not there yet.. first support has to be given enough with enough bearish senitment to bring it back into 1.04xx range and then.. for it to go even lower.. it has to breach 1.0435 support.. so keep an eye out.. Tight range would be from 1.0435 - 1.0581.. either one of this go's will see it higher.. or lower areas again.

I'll leave my commentary on that for now, and now you are well informed, from my perspective.. for whatever its worth.. and if its worth something.. you can mail me a check!

fwiw, I'm currently watching this short term pennant, flag or whatever it is.

A close above the red utl and i will add to my long.

I'll close my existing long if we break below 10550 looking for a retrace to 10525 ish for another long entry

It looks like a pennant, and its heading into tight consolidation. which will cause a breakout.. will see something.. I won't.. I'll be pretending to sleep. I'd say.. defintally exit your long, if support breaks.
