ECB Monetary Policy Decisions

At today’s meeting the Governing Council of the ECB decided that the interest rate on the main refinancing operations and the interest rates on the marginal lending facility and the deposit facility will remain unchanged at 0.75%, 1.50% and 0.00% respectively. The President of the ECB will comment on the considerations underlying these decisions at a press conference starting at 2.30 p.m. CET today.

They follow all the trade indicators available on the market, they have them on their screens, they know when you respond thereto. They, the liquidity providers, take positions against your trades. They know your stop losses and profit takes and they will know when and how to secure their positions at your cost. You will lose constantly unless you are prepared to trade long term with no stop loss and no profit take alerts for them to act on. This is their game and they will hook you at will, you are a small fish in their pond. Close your forex accounts, go play with the dog and live longer.

No one can tell the future - not even my beloved Cubic Trojan regression engine - all it tells me now is that we are mostly at resistance with enough space in direction to sustain a rising channel for another 4 - 6 weeks (I trade multiple pairs so not just the Euro) whether we break or bounce on this abnormal trading day depends on the market and the market is still out.

PS: Right now I have a headache - I staked a lot here in fact enough to ruin me and if Draghi fails I may burst a vein. But I expect him to maintain personal integrity - the head of the ECB should not be a person who makes misstatements in public.

Here is the news I am out - with 55k +ve. If at 1.30 P.M. (GMT+1) the algos go which ever way I will follow them. Greedy? Not me - its the market that took more than that before now that is greedy. But as you all know it is always safe to buy the rumor sell the news - that is what I just did with the help of my Cubic Trojan regression engine. But the day has just begun for me - in Chinua Achebe's "things fall apart" the bird says "since men have learnt to shoot without missing, i have learnt to fly without perching"

Did you not see how the way the market was moving? It started off bottoms had to reach some top before reacting to the impetus of the moment which in any case was not in play until GMT+1.30.

PS: The point is it not just fundamentals it is also order flow - and money was placed to go up until it hits contrary injections - support and resistance (but dynamic this time) is the name of the game. I used to miss trades like that by holding opinions and not trading the flows. Now I trade the flows and look what I hit today.

If you thinking like that why you still in this forex forum. You who should leave the market if you think you can get the profit from this market. Everyone have different method. And by the way i get right in right momentum before market going akward.
