Tonights reports will tell where the AUD is going....IMO I feel the AUD will rebound and soar through 1.06xx with the ECB news tomorrow.

Early NY trading saw EUR/USD stuck within tight ranges. Better than f/c ADP jobs data resulted in a spike lower while worse than f/c ISM numbers rallied the pair towards 1.2330 S-T resistance. Action remained between 1.2280 7 1.2330 until the Fed statement. Bernanke decided to not give the mkt a bone. No hints of additional stimulus from the Fed resulted in the pair running stops through 1.2270 & 1.2240. The slide extended to the 1.2220 area which coincides with the 10 DMA & July 30 low. All eyes are on tomorrow’s ECB announcement. Huge expectations have been built in since Draghi’s remarks on Thursday. Clearly a disappointing statement will see the Draghi gains wiped clean. If the ECB disappoints tomorrow, which IMO they will, say hello to 1.18xx

While bears are celebrating their gains, I have an instinct that this is a RRS zone.

The FUN is just beginning. Wouldn't surprise me to see 10060 in the not too distant future - 50% correction from the june 1 low.

Well, what we saw today gave me an excellent idea on how the ECB news is going to effect the AUD. I strongly feel that the ECB will not be buying spanish bonds tomorrow, and they will greatly disappoint. This, IMO should send the AUD sky high. On top of the reports tonight, assuming they come out better then expected, will prompt me to put my bull mask on and hitch a ride up to 1.06xx. If anything, the drop today baited a lot of bears into selling. Be careful. FYI Only.

I think dont care what happen tomorrow in the price action, we will be ranging 40 -50 pips...when we know the ECB decision we will know if go long or short...

Me guarantee ??? Not a chance. The AUD is still arguably in a LT bull market. Big triangle on the weekly chart. We can still go down a long way and still not violate the bottom of the triangle at the 96-97 area. We can also go up to near the 107 area at the top of the triangle. But the odds and probabilities favor a down move right now (bearish cycle/seasonal). Thats the best thing a trader can do in the forex market - you go with the odds and probabilities when dealing with something as uncertain as the forex market. As they say, put the odds in your favor but be flexible.

There's also a KICK UP cycle/seasonal right now in the US Dollar. This is very supportive of the KICK DOWN phase in the AUD now. Sell rallies for the next few weeks.

I know this must chap some hides around here with me saying things you do not wanna hear. Don't be too rigid in your outlook or you'll miss a nice BEAR move. Look at the bright side, in a few weeks you'll have a killer buy area for the long term bull. I'll be jumping on it. And even if the bear cycle doesn't pan out, I'll still be jumping on the bull market but right now I'm giving respect to the bearish cycle influence.
