I have never posted until tonight but 4hr TDI says sell , so I am selling @1.04931 with a 50 pip sl and I will leave TP open until the morning. Good night folks will see what happens in the morning. Thanks for all the info and humor

GAME STAGE : the trend and pricing before the news releases
Here is my opinion.. on it.. its being released at 14:15 which is 2:15 pm Eastern time.. the sentiment is they are going to announce.. QE3.. Based on that the economy needs.. a shot of more money.. cause.. I guess talks is inflation is a miracle cure.

So.. the sentiment for the USD is going to be "bearish" and short term "bullish" for the euro. but, dollar bearish in general, because QE is suppose bad for the dollar cause its bad for the economy.

So.. If I was to short anything that "buys" the dollar.. I'd keep it tight.

It's also using a weeks results, and GRANTED.. that real money doesn't move fast.. still take it at.. arms distance.

One way to use the COT report in your trading is to find extreme net long or net short positions.


Since the COT comes out weekly, its usefulness as a market sentiment indicator would be more suitable for longer-term trades.

What's up chiknthief...back in the early 90's I went to a Larry Williams seminar on commodities and one of his favorite indicator on his charts was the positions of speculators and commercials like the one you got here...he always said when they're at complete opposites go with the commercials..look back and see on your chart and see what happens to PA...it's interesting...the tricky part is to try and find out how strong the move is...just and observation...

ADX is directionless. It represents the strength of the Bull and the Bear. When certain conditions happen, usually, it is something b.... going to happen.
