But, they own their propaganda machine. That should be good enough. It is true that everybody knows the chinese economy is slowing down. However, there are also a lot of people who don't use their brain at all.

We have a tight range for aud so far today. Tonight close will be important as its month end. And most should take profit soon or hold another day for those in long from earlier 0.96-1.3 area. A close below 1.0490 will favors the bear. Anything above 1.0530 we will see more upside.let see how this 4 hour close now. If wick stands for supply at 1.0525-40 . Daily is hinting for some bears. Its almost in the same range from previous drop from 1.0445 when it got stuvked in a tight range and follow by bear actions into 1.0177 area. Tmr we have cny that...

I have learned how to survive in the Forex market. Act like a snake not a turtle! When the wind changes its direction, you have to feel it and follow it.

If you look at M15 chart, you would see the PA since last night. Find a similar pattern occurred before and see what happened after that pattern. FYI only.

Please don't get me wrong. In my previous message, I did not mean you were wrong or right. What I meant was that be flexible. Although I am the papa of bears, I may put my bull mask on at any time without notice.

Good morning all. I think the HSBC PMI was a good early indicator of what we will see in the official PMI this morning. HSBC showed a small improvement, though still in contraction territory.

Since the NBS PMI was at 50.2 last month, I suspect we will see something slightly higher this month. I realise the consensus view is 50.4, but I think it might be a touch higher than that.

Of course, the anecdotal evidence doesn't support an improvement. Here in Beijing we are hearing horror story after horror story. Just yesterday a coal trader told me they have run out of room to store the mountains of unsold coal at the main coal ports. Also some calls for new subsidies to help keep the steel industry afloat, with more than 1 year's supply of finished steel in warehouses. (Wall St Journal contacted me last night about this.) Aluminium smelters that are running at a loss are now getting up to $200 a ton government subsidies.

Still, a positive reading (which is what the Government wants), will have a positive effect on the Aussie. Those who don't know any better will start thinking that China is about to buy lots more Aussie coal and iron ore.

this aud/usd has gone up from 0.9600 to almost 1.0600 or 1000 pips with very little correction. one would think it would come soon?

Just reading through the last 10 hours of posts. Before I went off for a rest, I posted a chart indicating a second bounce that had to go back and test the previous highs, which has then return to that trend line, pushed past it, where it found the 15min 200ema, retested the break of the trend line, triggering a sell signal and is now challenging the previous top where it may find some resistance at the moment.

I booked profit on.. EUR/AUD long.. I might take a long position with AUD/USD here.. with the report coming out in 50 mins.. China does have a way of.. smudging the #'s. See you on the upside hopefully.
