For the Daily Chart followers, it appears the bears RIGHT shoulder is starting to form (from the H&S pattern). No pic attached. If the shoulder is confirmed, I'll be looking to ride down the bears arm to the 1.00 range...

This is my take on China.

After building great wealth over the past 30 years starting with their sale of plastic ducks, which they achieved through cheap labour, by 2008 they had enough capital to stimulate their own economy through infrastructure and building projects. This is the only reason we have a strong AUD today, but the question is will China continue to build and keep up the demand for Australian raw materials. They already have large townships which are empty due to the farm workers not wanting to leave the paddy fields for an uncertain city life. They also have factory workers who are being kept on by their employers hoping the market will pick up, rather than have the cost of retraining and recruiting these works from the paddy fields.

So with Europe & the USA consumer spending down are China just making and stockpiling goods to keep their workers employed.

The real indicator for the strength of the AUD would be to no the shipping quantities of raw materials to China, if this is falling then China will be slowing down its build program and the AUD will come down.

NOTE : I accidentally posted the the seasonal / cycle chart for the GBP/USD not the AUD/USD. The dates are almost identical with the GBP and the AUD. Sorry bout that. The charts look almost identical. I'll see if I can figure out how to save charts on Adobe Reader. I admit I'm not the most computer saavy person around. lol

As long as we can locate your post, it should be good enough. I looked at it again and found that the Aussie is still on the bull mode. Is my reading correct?

use print screen and paste it into paint, save into GIF for each page

Seems like for the moment.. we've got a bit of a bullish.. knee jerk reaction.. but the ADX is switching from bits of peices of "bullish" strength into neutral territory at which point, Will switch over into bearish territory. Market sentiment, is also switching from bulls to bears and ladies and gents we are still in "range"

1.0175ish to 1.0340-50ish zone.

I've got a short position from 1.0320 will ride it down to.. support 1.0270ish if it takes me there.. and will see from there. If it doesn't then just cut the position and go and cry.

from my view we are only on a short retrace from a bull trend that has been going on since 06/01/2012.
1- lower highs
2- higher highs
3- daily bullish engulfing
4- close above weekly pivot 1.0326 very bullish

again my point of view only....
