An AB=CD projection of previous H4 swing low would reach to about 1.0067 (268 pips on my charts).

Anyway we're still in the "no-man's land ranging zone" IMO, though wide enough to gather some pebbles here and there.

BBs on H4 are slowly tightening around 1.0220/1.0350 zone but we might have to wait for next week for a clear break on a tighter zone.

Time will tell...

Indeed !

Anyway if bearish confirmed, I would expect some support around the 38.2 retracement on the daily swing high (1.0114) with a 1.0125-1.0100 zone delimited by June 28 highs and July 12 lows.

I added some lines to zuntrader's chart and came up with a very likely scenario of Aussie 's next move. (Thanks to zuntrader for borrowing his chart.)

The FIB 50.0% of July 2011 HH coincides with FIB 50.0% of Feb. 2012 HH. This means the current triangle of larger TF is symmetric. This FIB 50.0% is the center line of this triangle and the important resistance and support of previous PA.

Now, the intersection of this double FIB 50.0% and daily LTL is very likely to be the turning point of Aussie's imminent move. FYI only -IMHO-

The next upward cycle begins somewhere around sept 17. (not necessarily an exact date although sometimes they are) Bearish seasonal / cycle comes in about now - Aug 1st thru sept 17. NOTE : I said "about". Not exactly science, more like art, as you say.
Even in a raging bull market the market almost always stops moving up, and pauses (range trades) during a bearish seasonal / cycle.

Yes I agree and mentioned August is more often than not a bearish month in my first post on this thread.

If China come clean about their real growth then I am sure it will be bearish
