GOLD: Maybe it is now, a nice Gartley and AB=CD, this pattern can bring us straight to 1539.5 area.

1609,40 is what I am waiting for, if not 1614,40 but this would mean channel breakout and I have no idea how far gold could shoot up.

I actually enter small position @ 1607,40 small risk in this place and great RR so it is worth it. I wanna short SP as well but this will have to wait for the right level.
People generally have different levels because we all use different brokers so I wouldn't be anal about precise level, it is a bit like with pivots - price doesn't have to open or close right on the line - it is general area that counts.

2160 proving to be a wall so far,
if it wasn't so late in the day i'd
like to sell up here.
A little concerned about weekly pivot at 2186
and round number at 2200 for a spike up though
Would sell at 2200 even this late i think.

I'm going to post this in here because it seems like one of the only FF threads where people intelligently speak about trading despite disagreements on their bias. That said, based on the charts I posted a few pages back I'm going to post this:

On recently established EURUSD longs, I'm holding them until somewhere in the 1.29XX - 1.30XX area.

Reasons: Tons of divergences on the EURUSD Daily. Euro already turning against many pairs. USDCHF also in a similar situation to the EURUSD, CHF turning against currencies it was the weakest against. Recent COT reports show bottoming.

Don't forget about Bastards (but they are useless as we know) and PipTraper's Euro thread - both great I read them every day.

Yes we bounced off 1,20xx which for many if not most happend to be "bottom" still same group see 1,1875 as an ultimate target for this year and part of those bears see her even lower. With current formation as we have nice bullish engulfing pattern off psychological support it is a high possibility reversal signal. However two daily candles doesn't mean much for a change of sentiment for a mid term trend. I would wait for weekly to confirm - I was in the same place last week when we saw those hammers bouncing off 1,216xx area one day by the other - than another drop.
From the technical point of view we should see a retracement here and by looking at daily I would see 1,2320 as a top for our move.
Your target require a serious & solid fundamental push preferably written & signed officialy on paper not heard from some technocrat's mouth or even worse founded on twitter.
What is need it for such a move in MY opinion:
1. Another can kicked "far away" (Greece, Spain temp solution)
2. Big boys back in their office from sunny holidays
3. Significant change in non commercial part of the market from bearish to bullish buying killing spree (COT)
4. QE as a bonus to push it even further than 1,3xxx

COT so far is very bearish, there are little changes here & there but nothing significant so far - I read it every week I would notice and write about it here.
So depend on your entry area (RR) this could happend but I would be betting more on coming back to 1.2xxx and attack on those stops below before any further, large move up.
This is how I see things at least for now - I am glad you decided to post it in here - you would not survive next door with such a post - nobody would try to understand what is behing your plan.

High SLs, 3 targets, and 1.18 here we come (or not ). I wasn't bouncing at previous bottoms (last week), I used 3 shorts with High SLs and hit 2 of my targets. Now i do the same, as resistance quite strong and we have a double top.
There is nothing wrong trading these hours, it depends on the strategy, 4H and 1H TF charts are good enough to sleep and get to work the next day and only then get updated.

Aussie on the other hand, might have some Harmonics which I like, and I hope that some deliverance be in place when all the numbers are in place.

The Short: Each planned direction is with 3 targets: 1st Fib38.2 (also minor structure support), 2nd fib61.8 (also some mixed R&S) and 3rd fib127.2.
The Long: 1st target, previous Support which is fib23.6, 2nd fib38.2 (minor structure for previous support) and fib61.8 (which has many resistance levels)

There is one more important thing that can back you up in here. I do have a thread in trading discussion part of FF called FF cinema - I uploaded Jim Rogers seminair about how he invest and see the world - smart man, one of my favourites.
He said something like this - "when I see everybody in one boat I usually prefer to be in the other one", and something like "if everybody is selling there will be nobody to buy at some point"
So little pat on the back from Jim Rogers himself

For those who fear, and think that market knows what you are doing and every time you put the trade and it goes against your position.
Well it has always been "Your" problem, many got all the info from Forums and other trading signal places, and that is much easier, even if the very trading was a lose, -it was somebody else's fault rather than yours-

Get motivated, build your plan, back test it to see it works: Even if it works 50:50, SLs and decent Risk/Reward might get you a great profit factor. Learn to except the risk, make smaller lots if you cannot except great loses.

When traders have a good trading system (proved by themselves to themselves), there might be a small thing to think about and that would be the Discipline.

The following link might give you some motivation, especially after a sh**ty day, of course many traders are past the "Emotions" and other "Doubts in system" and won't find it useful but many of traders do need some motivation, I did need some, personally there was a point where I was stuck, my profit factor was 1, which means whatever I won, I lost. And it took me more than 1.5 years to get to the point and trust the system that I have already proved to myself many times.

For those that face the Discipline thing for the first time, please do your self a favor: GET Disciplined and only then come back, otherwise we'll (the market) take your money.
