Swing trading: I stay on the sideline & wait...the market seems a little indifferent for me just now, ...H4 retrace before further upside?...H1 down? ...I don't know, ... weekly could go up or down, monthly the same..maybe it's more scalping time just now. I trade more optical brighteners with higher probability patterns,...so waiting is my main rotor; - it needs only one fucking H4 long candle to have a finger in the pie in the last time, ...not extremely interesting...when doing the job with ft -.

If it will be definitely broken further downside movements seems possible.
Be aware of false breakouts.

I don't think, it will happen before Friday's GDP-figure. The will to drop hard is gagged by the hope for more stimulus. I am actually a bit surprised that there isn't much more action around 2132 (=volatility). One of those door's that can get closed one way or the other.

the bigger they are the, more time it takes to wake them.
looks like more down atm.. unless something crazy happens like 2148 close.. or even 2138+ .. 17m left.. thinking up Thursday/early Friday and atr for 23xx.... then drop below 2156 to close the week.

Hi,

Doji weekly? I hope this wont happen, but if so, combined with next weeks FOMC and ECB press conferences we could get some bulls next week. But overall, this week seems to be with no news. Sure, there are some headlines, like ESM is about to get banking licence and so, but those are only headlines. Important news come next week, so this week, I think there is no hope for cheap money addicts.

edit: well in fact not a precise doji, but I never paid close attention to precise patterns. But I think you know what I mean. Reversal pattern with either doji, or shooting star on weekly. I hope it is called shooting star.
edit2: Btw, I called it doji coz I have been looking at last friday close at 2154. Imo any h1 close above this level will start a correction. If we manage to close weekly above this level, well, some of my shorts will go down for sure.

I haven't been doing much this week in the markets... got a lot of other stuff going on and just staying patient with some EA shorts. I'm looking forward to the 3x swap today
