this is kinda fishy, I think it bounces due to the TL, I got the feeling that the movie isn't really over..I think there would be a sequel real soon..

What an awesome and different thread on FF! Well done boys and girls on starting this up!

For me one of the most difficult parts of trading is working out current trends. Different TF's will show different trends. For example current daily chart shows a trend line up (which we have just bounced off).
Highs are higher and lows are higher.
However if we drop down to say a 1 hour chart trend is down with lower lows and lower highs!
I'm not a great trader (in fact at times I stink) just like the crap that our bulls and bears leave behind!
I find myself "chassing" the trend and end up on the train just as it's pulling into the depo!
So right now I still think we are in a down trend based on the one hour chart and the daily trend will come into play if we start making higher lows and highs

So I'm watching a close above the $1.0320 level as a sign that down trend has ended.
I would love your thoughts and hope that this post helps some traders out there!

oanda known for big slippage during big market news or high volatility, i see spread as high as 19 before. and oanda is a market maker they claimed? so their feeds rate is different probably.

1.0161 is the 61.8% possible D1 target for me

1.0258 is the MA24 on my H1 chart

1.0356 <-- I have no idea what makes you come up with this..a possible bear station?

hey irfandbl how ya doing my friend....after awhile of staring at chats with different indicators and what not I decided to take a set of numbers and get their averages....I got these from bolli band TL averages on the 30..60..4HR and Daily charts..took the top line, average line and bottom line of each and got there total average... interesting that two of them were on your radar...

Love your cartoons daddy bear! Wish I had your drawing skills mate.

Can I ask, do you photoshop them (or similar app) or hand draw and scan them in? You can no doubt whip them up pretty fast, nice work. I have had many good laugh out loud experiences from them.

Aussie should be a good buy for a while. Market was pricing in a rate cut next month which won't happen with the CPI numbers out today. Even though it was worse than expected, it won't be low enough to trigger the RBA to cut next month. Before the CPI release, market had a 60% chance of a 25bps cut priced in. I love these easy money events

timster, welcome aboard! As to the issue of TF. My view is they are all the same. The small TF is the blow-up of a larger TF. The later indicates the lagging data of the former. A lot people hold the same view of yours but I don't.

Welcome InfiniteLoop. I use snipping tool on my PC with my free hand sketch. I am glad that you enjoy my cartoons. Seems to me, you are not a newbie. Please do offer your insights to help some other people in this thread. Thanks.
