GDR sounds like a plan rarelygiving it back I'd definitely where its at and if it worked before then repeat endlessly

In the park on the note to hot and far to many distractions today but we shall try.

Yeah since I'm sat here all the time though I'm more inclined to put a trade on instead of netting a set amount and walking away/closing mt4 lol

Hows it going trading on that note? harder/easier/same?

Sat There waiting for hours gets boring then stupid trades.

Used the Note to trade at home a few times its fine first trade just outside gu -7 them be the breaks.

Back to trading with trend off a price crosses ma back to keeping it simple like your doing

best way is to keep it simple, a good thief never gives his loot back, same with the markets. In and out until the next day, thats how its gonna be from now on and pay myself a nice healthy sum once a month of around 50% of the monthly profits.

Cut the emotion out trade it frequently take profit at the first stall and be tight on the sl constantly tightening it up to kerp losses to a min.

15 profits out of 17 account up 30% then lost the plot trying to be greedy.

Note is really laggy and crap for typing must mess with some settings or new browser lag hmmmm

Plan for me is get to 10K maybe 20K these days, then trade say $10 - $20 per pip and end of every month withdraw the account back to 10K/20K so what ever I make I keep!!

DAX moved 80pips from my triggered entry.

It looks to easy, stay out of slow times and chop with the index's aswell virtually guaranteed good movement each day or FX or them.

Thats what I do but keep a bit of profit in my account just to top it up a bit more, but for the next month I'm just gonna compound it and not take any out so I can up the lot size and keep my risk acceptable.

I'm sure there will hopefully be a time if all goes to plan where I'll have enough in my bank account to figure running it up 10K more and upping the lot size, then it's same work and more money, a win win situation

Dug out my MA template from my profitable period and going back to that to.

Greed indeed, its slowly creeping back into my mind and I know it is and thats the worrying thing, me being greedy is having a profitable trade of say 20-50 pips, then putting another trade on, risking the days profits.

Youve always got to make another trade risking your profits same day or next does it matter.

1 of my issues is im up and cant bring myself to take risks, i should be hitting every turn.

Back to perfect high odds trades is key and not gambling as such.

Yeah I don't mind risking the next day as its a new day and S/R levels are fresh which gives me the best chance of a winning trade, I find my first trade of the day is generally a winner and the latter trades of the day don't always come in, so, 1 trade a day, keeps my mind at bay!!

I suppose you've got a plan for the next day or several, if 1 sets up then generally it works out, it's when you get day tradery you give some back I guess.

Where as I should be in and out all day long scalping although with the plan of getting 30+ from risking 10 area. not sad +2 scalping.

Yeah, its when I start making a few trades a day the chances of winning each one drop massively, IMO sticking to one profitable trade per day only is the best way.

As long as you can cope with the boredom of waiting for that 1 perfect you can't lose setup and after that's done cope with nothing else to do for the rest of the day.

Good evening

The way that I have finally started earning 30% per week was to reduce my trading to entries that have high odds of being profitable.
No trades for the fun of it.
Not leaving the computer when in trade is another defensive move.
I have some trading rules and don't break them.
When I'm mentally tired, I quit trading, I don't fool myself in that I can keep going, as this is when I lose.

Not a bad day today. Sold the pivot twice. Stopped out once and banked on the second.

I like the conversation about one trade a day but is it not better to just trade every great setup.

Otherwise you could miss the really great days!

I trade USA session and it was not that great...one opportunity to come in and one loss

Overnight session was much better one loss, then trend switched to downtrend and then three wins

Only playing when there is trend is key, I've got a trend entry method I've got to actually start using, I was long in GU with the weak uptrend before it turned to downtrend, but -7 so don't care.

I've got not much work booked up for next month, 1 small contract to finish, 1 small 1 in the pipe which will help and 3 large contracts looming which may or may not happen, but they better get there soon, if not trading needs to be earning I have 3 months realistically.


Main issue is the days fly by to fast.
