I answered "I don't watch TV, but I watch videos" because I don't. I really don't. I have a TV, but I don't have cable. I don't even have an antenna! The only reason I have it is to watch movies from the video store, and then I'm very selective about what I watch. I used to watch 6 hours of TV a night, every night. But one day, I started questioning the content of the shows I was watching and asked myself if it was worth having to endure fourteen consecutive asinine commercials three times an hour in order to view that content. I finally woke up and realized the content was garbage, and I had learned to hate advertising. I turned the TV off and have probably watched less than 10 hours of TV in the last five years. I went through withdrawal, but once that was over, I realized how refreshing and wonderful it was to get the garbage out of my life. Especially the incessant liberal brainwashing that passes as "news". I am free now to think for myself. Thank God!
