taken a short here.

it is at the 200 day MA plus it appears to have completed an ABC correction on the daily.

Lets see Max, could be blood bath for bull in here, Daily still pointing down H4 shows 1,0155
Short sell - not a bad idea but I would wait for another 30 min just to be sure, good luck anyway - I will certainly join you at some point

a bit concerned because my 200sma was at 1.0294 on MT5, checked it against MT4 same value, checked against another platform and I get 1.0281 which is what is also quoted in the news reel


need to look into that

maybe it is expotential, could be difference in your brokers servers location ergo candles, levels could've been different, mine is simple and @ 1,0277 exactly

looks like a fairly slow day coming up. my thoughts are as follows:

EU - shorts below 1.216x, there will be a pile of stops now above 1.212x area so if it gets there expecting a little surge. Good demand around 1.207x but stops if broken.

Aussie - demand to 1.2050 but stops below. 21 day sma in 1.206x zone as well.

What are your plans?
I wouldn’t go short at the point where we are now, neither count for a breakdown.
I’d rather look for another opportunity to go short at point “Short1” or “Short2” on my chart.
I closed all my short positions and waiting for another chance, maybe today or tomorrow.
Certailny some breaking news from Eurozone can change this scenario pretty soon...
This is my first Monday morning view on the market:

I can't see it getting to short 2 level with the current PA, but Short 1 - 1.216x would definately be a level for me

I like that view especially 2220 however 2150/60 is nowhere near atm so I am holding my short, it could be choppy around here, and longer we stay here in a tight range the more I am looking at another leg down - monday tricky day to trade.

Hi Tom,
The point "Short2" is actually little below 1.2200, on 50% fibo retracement.
We have "Big Trio" (Trojka) travelling to Greece today.
They should negotiate something from Greeks, what can turn markets "short-term positive" and lift price some pips to kiss 1.2200 area.
Also after such a drop last week some retracement is "healthy"... and people love round numbers.
OK. This is my "MAYBE"

euro&aussie stoped out, entry point was quite good but risky, I should've wait for a higher point, those rejections should happen on a higher TF I guess
Sterling still open I would expect a "real" bounce from 1,5500 will place another short sell, target still 1,5400
