W1 a morning STAR is SEEN with a GAP DOWN..
this week we see a GAP up OPEN as WELL..
Needs Confirmation at EoW...BUT Buying is seen in past Few Days..

Thanks for the chart and observation. I have Ben looking at the weekly charts and have observed some strength in the euro. So I will be checking this out at the end of the week. The first signs that you are right will be if the euro can rise past 2317 today and stay above it.

Yes Olu..Just wait End of WEEK ..as this pattern requires a confirmation ..BUT a strange week so far..
take care..also AUGUST coming in a Few DAYs or so..So HOLIDAYS !!!!!

Hi Baz.

You can stay that again about the strange week. I think the market has been alternating between QE3 and Europe - messing up the technicals

Incidentally the euro has been to 2317 but is now down heavily from there. Strange week indeed...

Even though we didnt get a reversal candle we might still get a bounce if china's data is good. However I think 1.1875 is calling...

Pattern Failed ..BUT Next target as seen on Q1..chart..
Somehow i think Euro may not survive or maybe fewer countries will use it..but that too cant be the answer..we can only wait and observe..

SP500 Chart

Baz and I have been engages in a discussion about the correct timing of the short entry in the markets. I guess the big boys dont have that problem in that they have huge resources that can last say 30 ATRs for a position trade etc. Small traders have smaller trading accounts so timing becomes more of an issue coupled with a realistic tecnically places stop loss.

This chart shows a smooth flow but can you sit in a trade for a month? To thyself be true. That is whare I am going in my trading. What about you?
