1.0233 could be point 1 and 1.0183 could be point 3. -IMHO-

No, not really I am just messing around with patterns there. What I actually think is that it will go higher, with only minimal or NO retracement. I have a buy order at 1.0360 that I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't get filled.

Seems that 1.0220 also coincides with Aldente's Fibonacci fan (38.2% level on Daily). Although 1.0233 is indeed a safer target.

Hmm something like this?

I see 2 areas of confluence right now, the major 50% FIB and minor 61.8, and depending on time, possibly the 38.2 fan line. That would be right around 1.0220 and yes I would call that major support IF it got there. The other would be the major 61.8 FIB and minor 23.6 FIB, at around 1.0360.

From my chart reading, 1.0220 is more likely than 1.0360. First, a retracement of only 80 pips may be only for one wave's length. In other words, the pattern will be incomplete. Second, at 1.0220, the retracement would be 220 pips. From Proportion viewpoint, I would take 1.0220. A drop of 220 pips is really nothing to Aussie if it happens in 2 to 3 sessions. -IMHO-

Hi DB, deep respects to you. I am a Business Analytics Forex Trader hence i will always put fundamentals as first place then combined with technicals.

Currently, S&P/ASX200 is always directly co-related to the AUD currency. Now its going down in deep speed.

We will see how it goes, seems like the fundamentals are respecting the technicals, or either way.

Yes, although on Daily charts.

The intersection of three lines: a strong sup/res near 1.0220 (1.0223-1.0225), the rising trendline and the 38.2 Fibo fan from the whole swing high.

The projection of the height of the rising wedge (about 350 pips) from a break at the 1.0370-380 level would reach lower at the 61.8 level (1.0030 approximatively).
