Good evening to all traders, green pips to all.
Yesterday I entered short with eu, but couldn't put SLs and TPs, my broker had communications problems and untill I got home, the trade became break even instead of 100+ pips profit.

Today was a nice trade day at work, I could grap about 100pips from different pairs during the work hours, spending 15-30 minutes tops analyzing the charts. even caught the Gold a bit with its small retrace.

EJ, has a nice resistance at fib23.6, which may indicate for a continuation of strong bears around.

UJ: The Cypher pattern is coming on Daily, and I am waiting for it for a long time now, posted it 3 weeks ago in other thread

Currently short in 1H TF, since it resisted the level, the 1st TG 10 pips to go, the TG2 is just before hte Daily Cypher pattern formation.
Though there is a gartley currently in 1H, but there is no Bullish divergence.

The harmonics are just confirmation for me. do not trade these as signals. I use MACD/RSI/STOCH as main decisionmaker. Further 123 patterns as well as TMA.

Harmonics are just 60% accurate- in my opinion.

Will never take a trade on these patterns alone.

I closed my second short sell on Gold after consolidation and wasn't high enough to leave it so I took small profit - I was thinking about bottom of the range when I set my target.

Watch this week - how it will close I can see she is struggling now but H4 shows 2214/20 could be reached. If it bounce there SKYNET's pattern could be valid - if this week will close with...
TOMSPIN, TSAR, MIKELP, MAXDOOM, FXMINDSET, CRASSIUS, TAU TRADER, ESSEX, KIWITRADER, C5FX.....(i think that pretty much covers everybody. hahahaha.)

Jokes apart, this is my current breakdown of the EUR/USD from a technical point of view...the only fundamental shock capable of tearing it out of that limbo channel(that the euro is in now) Probably the Unemployment claims tomorrow? which i am guessing...is going to be negative in the USA. If the unemployment claims tomorrow doesnt tear eur/usd from that bullish channel(or what some call a bearish flag--i dont think it is a bearish flag yet{see my reasons on the chart below}), well, that means we spent the entire week in a mid-range consolidation of 100pips back and forth everyday of this entire week.

yes, that has been the average movement of the EUR/USD up and down this week: roughly 100pips. back and forth. {see charts commentary below}

anyways, on the 3 charts attached below...you will see annotations and commentaries on what i think the EURUSD can potentially do technically.

Look the expantion fib is giving us a very nice targets all of three are perfect with the chart...

By the way just IF market breaks the trendline

That's OK, we all combine, the patterns, the RSI, candles ( I love 'em), trends, R&S and all bunch of indicators (though I do use MACD for deliverance only) I just pointed that out, I also mentioned that UJ has a pattern formed but I didn't take it (yet )

Somehow I feel more comfortable in this room than others, and I hope it will continue this way. Only useful stuff and friendly environment and not like all those beasts that are fighting to say "you are wrong mate, hey and I am right" stuff, have no respect for others, then why in the first place they signed up? (If I was saying that, it would be probably at once, with no breath left.... and inhale)

i beleive i speak for everybody when i say, what you just wrote below, mr. mikelp, is very important to all of us. It is foundational, it is core, it is our desiderata. And that is how it should be.

Yup... and we are all waiting and guessing, every move of the new candle makes us think differently each time (up, down...)... this confluence zone is killing a lot of traders I guess; and there are many other pairs to trade.
(I think this is a classic when some trader will go with the zone, and when he does, the break occurs)

still waiting last asian open to print, been say last 2 weeks is at dangerous levels and virtually coin toss do we have bounce possible reversal, or continuation, overall trend is still down, although prepared to buy this girl see no clear signals yet,, this week is playing out no different, toss buy toss sell toss buy, both buyer and sell should of made money this week.

have opened a set and forget scalp rr 1/3 in scalp account, will see what this hr close will give may clip it but need go back out be back london

is time for much patience

the move up yesterday made a nice 5 wave trend on the M15 TF so first looking for a simple correction target zone 1.2266 to 1.224x

short for now

edit: if it fails to climb above 1.231x today then the door to 1.20 is still firmly open so I will be only be shorting below 1.231x.

Even if it does climb above my targets are fairly shallow around 1.238x

The S&P has come a long way back from the channel bottom as good earnings reports have fueled risk on each morning as Wall Street opens, reversing Early European session declines. Clearly Wall Street has fueled risk on moods at its open in recent trade.

Impressive to me yesterday, is the fact that Spanish Bond Yields continued to rise yesterday, even as EURUSD found a bottom and did the now familiar reversal at Wall Streets open.... We got back to 1.2260 with Spanish bond yield hitting 6.95% at the same time.

There isn't much data to drive the pair this morning through technical levels..... The German's have a vote scheduled to day... but that result will not be a surprise and should already be priced in. A more likely driver of price will be Spain's bond auction this morning trying to sell 3 billion in 2, 5 and 7 year paper.

Looking at the S&P chart it is clear that we are just under resistance to go higher, and maybe due for a pullback which will cool risk appetite and EURUSD. EURUSD keeps failing at by now familiar levels.

I'll have my eye on bond rates... my ears open to the bond auction results.... with a healthy grain of salt as a few days ago we had an Italian debt auction of key ten year debt that went well, only to see the open market completely reject the low yields produced by the auction and saw Italian yields back above the key 6% level less than an hour after the auction. I interpret that as official manipulation creating artificially low yields in the auction that was corrected quickly by the open market. We may see the same thing today.... Could an impressive (artificially) bond auction fuel a breakout?

While we remain knocking on the door to 7% yields, I hold little hope we breakout to the upside before Wall Street opens.... and if we do.... we better quickly come away from the 7% drop dead Spanish ten year yield, as that has been a "hit the sell button" signal for months now... a breakout without corresponding falling yields (from 1.2210) will smell like a fake out to me... and I would look for it to fail at 1.2225 - 30.

The past few mornings have seen an impressive first hour on Wall Street.... this holds perhaps the best promise to pop through upside resistance. There is US data that could move the US equity markets.

I view the current upside pressure as corrective.... and likely to be messy....and therefor riddled with risk... I remain bearish and look to sell not buy today. If we go higher it will just provide more room for a future trade to fall.

Spanish Bond Yields are at 6.983 as I post this....

I am see a nice demand on 4H break yesterday and hold become support now,therefore I am long since asia open @ 1.2280 with stop 1.2270 risk 1 % ( locked @ BE and let it run )
