Yes thats true, some times it takes a while to get through the skull. Also after looking at some of the other charts they look very noisy, even with RBs. So far it has been a good week, I will stick to my present setup now on version 4 and give it a couple of weeks to cook out on the 2 pair. I will also be running it on a small live account with just the small .02 lot, and if all goes well I will start to increase the lot size.

the EA takes care of sl trail everything , it is a complete package. i have one humble advice , when you are researching for a trading strategy think differently from what the world knows or tell you .. for if that be so then the purpose of research does not come in the first place, which shows that what we are being told or fed is wrong. If you are interested in research then do it with a clean mind and take inputs from your mind, dont listen here and there.

Had the same trades last night, except my BJS-eurjpy trade only made $0.10 (1 pip).

This trade opened today and took a partial close and is still running on the second half of the trade yet.

Has anyone tested with other pairs on V4? I'm thinking about testing others pairs with V4.

Seller 9, how do i produce the 2m chart on mt4?i followed d procedure on d manual and all i found was d usual 1m,5m,15m etc...no 2m.Is it a problem of my brokers mt4 (alpari) or wht you said about a program that produces ticks?am sorry if the question offends.

am really impressed with the results of this technique n have just opened a demo account to try it n hope to post results as well.Thanks and thumbs up for all the hardwok u and unimak are doing to help us improve our skills in trading

If this techniue works for eu n ej...won't it also work for uchf n chfj?since they move in almost equal n opposite sides....

The RangeBarSetup.docx has it detailed step by step. Are you saying when you try to look for it in Offline charts it isn't showing up?

I've got it.Had 2download a program dt generates ticks b4 it showed up...luk 4wad 2posting charts.

that's great. I just had another order open up on EURUSD. First TP hit. Let's see how the second half does. The order that i showed earlier hit the initial 15 pip TP and the second closed at 10 pip by the trailing stop.

As to your other question on if it will work with other pairs, we will just have to test it and see. I placed the EA on GBPUSD and AUDUSD, but nothing has opened yet.

If the maket is open and you are getting price updates the offline chart should be created. The only time I use a tick generator is on the weekend when the market is closed.

Please test it on other pairs as I have not done that yet. You want charts that have nice trends, not ones where the price keeps jumping back and forth across the river in a ranging fashion.

Let us know how other pairs work for you.

Here is one that got missed last night. I wasn't watching at the time so don't know why. What I suspect is the AO was still above the zero line.
The code looks at the previous closed candles to determine this and we were right at the cross over point, the previous candle was just above the AO zero line so it did not let the EA take a short.

I could change this to use the present candle, but then sometimes you get strange things as the AO would keep flipping back and forth until the candle closes. I will probably just leave it the way it is, just thought I should let you know that you can't get them all.

I got one trade on EURJPY last night that took the PC and then the BEJS for the second close.

2.14 and 2.54 using .02 and .01 lots

Edit: See Seller's post before this one. Same situation and I had the eurjpy trade too, which was a success.

Added the gbpjpy and gbpusd pairs. So far one trade on gbpjpy and first TP was hit. Up $2 (.01 lots) on TS.

Got the same trade, but it was my first loser so far

However, my gbpjpy TS was hit for +$1.89.

Anyone interested, here's the chart! Also, added AU to my demo.

I am using different settings, but I'm up about the same amount for the week so far, but I'm also trading AU and GJ. AU seems to have the best results. I have had some losses, but the net is about +280 pips.

Next week I'll run two demos -- one with Seller's settings and one with the ones I'm currently using. So far Seller is making the name number of pips with fewer pairs.

The main difference in the settings is I'm using MA=100 and no semafor. I'm using 17 pips for the SL. Target 1 is 15 pips and then the PC is half the original lot. BE/JS is 15/1/1. The thing about the MA is it keeps you from trading against the trend, but it often conflicts with Semafor. Oh, yeah, and I'm still on RB_v3 (but that shouldn't make much of a difference).
