interesting.. there are some good areas of confluence for targets/resistance there should a bounce higher occur.

Hello Killers
Was busy day at my work and nothing new no breaking any of my point yet to review my chart.

the Fair PA now i see 1.0220 which is my entry last Friday
I will b wait it
BTW: I always divided my position and i did in the zone between
1.0220 - 1.0320

Let me add one more thing very important for newbie
It's not enough to b right but You must have a very good MM

I learn something new everyday either from other people or myself. But it reinforces the stuff I learned when I told myself 1 day enough is enough (I've had it!!) and it was time to make those necessary changes that nobody wants to do. When I write a book I'll tell you the rest . I also ignore alot of stuff but that's good advice.

QE3 is being saved for the November election market boost.

in the meantime, the markets will do what they intended, QE or not. (as you can see with where price is going)

Thanks for you good luck comment, but dont you think you've quoted a post from a perhaps monday or friday?? ive already explained i was stressed out over my results from university and i've been edgy the whole day hoping i would pass my first year university simply because i had to put up with a lot of people who simply wont put an effort in our group works....
managed to pass so now im just chilled...
no harm done today....
made enough today, will be lookin at the daily close though, might be hints of some interesting move....
btw, not to be aggressiv or anything but what makes you think my parents are alive?? perhaps not a very good idea to bring family members into the forums even if its a hypothetical "What if..."

I don't know, its been compressing for quite some time now, I think it is ready. I agree the breakout here is a VERY nice trade setup, too bad I can't trade gold

oh then i must've typed "Wooptie fuckin doo" when AUDUSD tanked on no QE3.....
Not that i know everything but it was obvious Ben wouldnt announce it just yet....
so i was like "Who Would've Thunk It"
Expecting everyone would know that QE3 this week was out of the question....
Reason why i was so against AUDUSD flying up for the past week is because US figures only started to show bad numbers, but its wasnt bad enough thats worth flooding the economy with billions of dollars, instead i think Ben would keep this QE3 wildcard to his chest and use his Mind "Twisting" Game to see if the Economy can recover itself.... Besides they all say Third's the Charm.... better make it count...
So i was totally against the Hype of Dollar Weakening over this week....

I'd like to know if you've ever blown your trading account? With your trading strategy, it will probably happen eventually. However you seem quite arrogant with your strategy. I may be wrong, but I feel you are lacking experience.

Not trying to be an ass, just speaking from experience here. Adding to underwater positions is just like the old martingale system. Eventually it will run and run against you until you have a margin call.

I read one of your posts recently where you said a position went almost 900 pips against you before moving x amount in the direction you wanted. The lot size must have been so small that it is hardly impressive.. not to mention the amount of time you have to wait for it to move in your direction. Imagine if you used a 45 pip stop loss.. your position size will be 20 times larger. Rewards much jucier. If it goes against you.. who cares? You don't always have to be right. Admit you were wrong and move on. You won't have to win as often but your profits will be much much higher. Again, just speaking from experience..

Got my eye on the all time mid of the euro. Approx 1.2135. Could be tough for the euro to break in the short term. Here we could see a decent bounce. This will have a large pull on the AUD too. That's why I'm a little cautious with my shorts in the short term.
1.0245 short closed at B/E

Re-entered short again @ 1.0293. Stops just above todays high @ 1.0311

May move stops to B/E very soon and then sleep on it. Will wait for the all time mid of the Euro to look to take profit (E/U 1.2132ish).

Heres the thing yes im not as experienced, but heres the thing for me... i used to trade stocks and family trades physical gold.... little did i know they could hold onto their position even if it ran below their positions, here comes the MONEY MANAGEMENT side to things.... when you trade something... you need to factor in for example if Gold is at 1600 USD... you need to make sure you have enough equity to even withstand Gold going all the way down to 0 USD....

I did bust up my account once trading 1 standard lot on a 5k usd account like an idiot... but soon i got to realize trade smaller gives you the flexibility of positioning your trades and average out at a position beneficial to the trend....
BTW ALL up move will have a downwards correction and by using hte average out strategy, a pull back at the very top can make all the difference....

Next... TimeFrame is another important factor... Each timeframe has a different set of Range for each pair, and seeing as AUDUSD has a Top of range at 1.06ish and a bottom of the range at 0.96 ish, you can already see me shorting at 1.02 is actually a good place to do so.... why??/ well 1.02 to 1.06 is 400 pips where as 1.02 to 0.96 is 800 pips... thats 1:2 Risk:Reward ratio..... so if you just trade out the time frame your winning chances are highly probable....

As for the Trade that i allowed it to make a DD of 900 pips... well that was USDCHF going below 0.80 to finally bouce at 0.71 up to 0.92, btw i rode up all the way to 0.92 to take profit.... it was long but it worked....
in fact if i was a good trader.... i would keep on adding Longs as it keeps going down...., because boy the more you get it cheaper the more you can make when it rises..... that was the theory for trading gold....
in fact if XAUUSD keeps going down for example say from 1500 to 1400 then 1400 to 1200 then 1200 to 800, you will be seeing me Buying Buying Buying almost at every price point.... Sadly though for gold i dont have enough equity to do that in GOLD Options... i can only do so in Gold Bullion/Physical Gold....

OMG you can't be serious. You will never make it that way if you have to be able to withstand it going to zero. Even in the worst market you have the time to change your position.
