sl hit on buy...
another entry 1.2290 sell with sl 30 pip....
except anothet lot on sell if it plays ok.....that's it for me today....no more transactions.....

and about eu data.....better rubbish that expected worst rubissh is still rubissh

i perfectly understand what you mean. those brokers know where the sl are (we usually place them about 20 pip above or below the recent high or low). if your sl is 50 some spikes still hit it, placing it lets say in 100 pips distance does not make sense. better just watch the PA and then act accordingly, either exit or stay. i think this is more logical. but this all depends on the style of the trading, who prefer what.

you must have very good broker bro, normally whenever market moves, somtimes not even that much, 2 of my brokers will freezed me out, every excuse in the world, them I cannot afford no sl, another broker I use for scalping never do this even for news releases, but it expensive,
I not trying to promote any broker, just some are better than others for different reasons.

Is good advice maybe just try next time you are sl clipped, reassess your placement, go out 1 or 2 or even 3 timeframes and see exactly your higher time frame protection was, often, lower timeframe will get screwed, but if look higher timeframe, wasnt really any grunty protection for your sl in the first place.
I not want to sound rude, but often stops get clipped purely because they in wrong place with little protection

so my long should flourish okay then

only problem is I am only long for the move to 1.236x - 1.249x zone then any significant turn I have this in mind

which is also my backstop plan if we fail to conquer the 1.231x zone

I understood your points. indeed mostly it varies from broker to broker. i used to use sl with about 20 pips but after getting hit a few times, i moved it to wider range, then decided that this absolutely does not make sense, better i do my analysis if price suddenly goes against my position and execute sl manually if appropriate. if i a smell retrace, i just add bigger position and exit from trade at BE in the shortest time. this is so far working. and this method is not for everyone. i guess the best thing to do is stay away from market when news coming up

I know, but the fact that germans wont sign that until september is all ready in price included, i was hoping that the fact that austrians signed the bailout programm could be at least a little bit bullish for euro

Why has eu stucked, well for those who think they have caught the bottom, her has to at least break the last support, her has tried once already last Monday and failed, can bennie break it tomorrow, who knows, but her has some work to muster another attempt, I would feel happier for long if her actually tapped and rejected 2131, a very nice support, but she bounced early I feel, and now is starting to struggle with the previous support, this rejection could be enough for a proper test of 2131, however if bulls cannot defend 2131, peoples, sorry but bear train will still be chugging,
