without ninja we canīt see anything. can you post maybe a screenshot of the ninja code?

Open "MedianRenko.cs" with notepad or any other plain text editor.

Can anybody fix either the EA or the indi version to refresh itself once in a while ? When there's a very rapid movement it doesn't show unless you reload the indi/ea.

Anybody interested in fixing it ?

tested for a week now, works perfect for me.

This EA have problems with historical information and I don't mean the traditional "you can't back-test with renko its not accurate" problem, I mean that this EA adds information where doesn't exist, when there is a larger candle this EA creates movements that don't exist, I know theoretic this is more accurate but depending on your strategies it can give you very good entries that never existed, specially if are using moving averages systems.Below I post images of some examples.

interesting, but no problem with 10 pips or more. i tried 2 pips renkos, but decided them to be not tradeable. i pay two pips spread.

I have found this. In the description it seems to be the modded renko but in the picture it's the standard renko.

PS: you know if median renko is the same of mean renko bars? And this hybrid renko? Anybody know the logics behind these types of charting methods? I would to contact a programmer in order to make the conversion.

Hi, thanks, it seems to work very fine. We should add a MaxBars option to make it better but it works fine.

this renko mean and range bars charting together are the holy grail of forex trading!

finally the mt4 median renko plug-in is out! As i said some days ago, i asked to a programmer to do the conversion, and he made the work! It's a great work so just give it a try...i attach a trial version (7 days)

Tks. Any chance you could make it reload history once in a while so that it shows the same thing in real-time as it does after a reload or restart ? Error or not this is repainting basically. And if you have a system that works on the historical data you dont want any doubts added by repainting.

I tried adding RefreshRates(); in various places but I couldn't get it to work.

Ithink I have given the wrong idea when I posted the indicator, it wasn't me that created this EA. The credits goes to bgrtz in another forum.

Unfortunately I'm not a coder, I can't correct this problem. Maybe someday some coder will pick this up and correct.
