Buy order hit mini sized dow, it stalled on some support so caught the break away, stop is just under the previous low. TP is what looks like the next resistance up if it breaks out completely. R:R about 1:3

SL is now at break even currently +10 up, incase it fails to break through this resistance.

Major over sleep shame indexs oil and gold nice slow uptrend not huge movement.

Fx's just wobbly as always and hard work.

Hi GDR

I notice that since you have started trading the indices your charts are now 5m and 15m. Is there any preference when you're looking to enter a trade, in particular when looking for such things as pin bars and inside bars etc.

Hi, no real preference, I'm just using normal S/R and trade breakaways, psychological levels etc, same as I was using with FX, however I'm finding these indices, especially the DOW, love their trendlines and respect technicals alot better than FX.

I missed a nice inside bar yesterday on the 5m chart on the dow, right on support aswell, it then proceeded to move over 200+ up.

Yah, I closed because it stalled at the 61% fib level from the swing high on the 11th july to the low of yesterday, chances are it'll reverse completely and continue on down.

the FTSE has stalled right on a bullish trendline starting from the low of yesterday

Lets see what happens.. dax has stalled at the 50% fib level again, may look to short if it looks good enough, and that trendline is broken.

DOW reversed off 12600 by my numbers so maybe the 00 is useable on my chart, I presume my DAX is similary mess up numbers wise.

I'll have to find a proper Dow and futures chart, maybe I'm real DOW price and your future ?? I used to trade off DOW charts 12years back for this reason, DOW was the strong 1 00 wise.

Yeah mines mini sized futures, thats what it says anyway, I'm finding DAX likes to find support or resistance at every 10 points or around these areas, so 6490, 6500, 6510, 6520 etc easy 10 pip scalps if you're that way inclined
