QE3, Which way do we go when this is announced? If the QE3 is on I would think this would mean risk is on and thus we would be going south(short); however, if the QE3 is off or delayed I would think that we may be going north(Long).

Am I right in my thinking? Trying to understand QE3 and Risk and how it effects the market and AUD/USD in particular.

Don't worry about China until tonight. CCP can do anything to make the data look great. The markets buy the fake data and get excited. When everybody thinks about the data so negatively, any good news even it is childish nonsense will make a big difference. -IMHO-

Sorry, your balloon is made in China. Ms. Bull's balloon is heading to an undisclosed location. Don't fake the story!

if QE3 is launched, it would mean risk on. risk on here means investor willing to take risk. then risky asset will go up, including AUD as risky currency.

simply QE3 will make USD weakers. since AUD/USD has USD at behind, it would mean AUDUSD will go up if USD weaker.

First of all... QE3 is still a big IF... when the FOMC announced no plan for QE3 anytime soon this week....

Next off.... AUDUSD is not quite a risk pair... Risk pairs are the EURUSD, GBPUSD, and USDCHF lately.....

AUDUSD is a semi safe haven pair because..... when EURUSD Falls... AUDUSD goes up as of late due to rising Gold prices.....

when risk aversion happens EURUSD fell translates Dollar Strength then Dollar Strength translates to XAUUSD strengh when gold gets bought up. when gold gets bought up AUD strengthens.... So really.... AUD is not quite the risk pair you think it is my friend....
