DislikedSo my question is, how does the LMAX API integrate into a charting environment? How do the other Traders that use the LMAX API handle this?Ignored

Disliked-Why is their platform so slow and crappy?
-Why is it such a pain to get hold of their api specs and in general a testing platform? Hell I only want to see if it suits my need and not marry with them.. So tell 'em they should get off their paranoia.
-Where are they situated?Ignored

Well, look, I am trading via dukascopy; I can run their platform, mine inside theirs, and two other instances of my application (all java based) connected to lmax demo server (see above) and metatrader instances and whatnot, and still all run without the slightest delay; but it is realy tadious to move around in one single pathfinder instance.. In fact, performance-wise quite comparable with web-based interfaces.
In general I have found that broker's fx applications based on dot net perform poorely in comparison to those that...Ignored
DislikedI wish I could have Dukascopy's platform/API connected to LMAX liquidity. That would be the best combination ever for trading retail FX.Ignored

DislikedNot sure what you mean. You can't for example feed JForex with the LMAX feed.Ignored
DislikedYes you can do it... Use in the same prog Java (multithreading) in eclipse use the API JForex and Api Lmax... send orders on LMAX and use dukascopy feed..Ignored
DislikedYes I know that. But I don't want the Dukascopy feed, only the platform.
e.g. JForex charts being fed with LMAX data.
Not possible, right?Ignored

DislikedThe major problem on dukascopy are the speed executions not the datafeed i think..Ignored
DislikedHow is Armada execution after adding new LP-s? I suppose spreads are better now?Ignored
DislikedInteresting Comments.
About execution speed, i'd be surprised if my script didn't reduce it to less than 500ms. However you won't be getting anything much lower than about 300 ms as it takes about 200ms for a signal to cross the atlantic. I'm in the UK, and MT4 order execution speed for me via Armada has a median of 140ms, see chart below. The chart shows market order execution speed for some recent trades (Live account, with an open authenticated session). The large values were...Ignored
DislikedNice post. I am planning to migrate to LMAX without using their IB. Trading with their API using OpenQuant.
If any using OQ for their trading with LMAX, what is your opinion/critique about OQ?
ThanksIgnored
