Technical wise, i target Resistance/Support for entry:
when confluence occurs on Multi-TF EMA's and Psych Levels with indicator confirmations + Pair correlation... (so here im quite a messed up person already)

Then comes the interesting bit...
Fundamental Trading... especially intervention trades...I love intervention trade because these trades give you enormous Risk:reward if you can hold the drawdown and be patient...
especially my USDJPY trades.... im still holding longs from 79.10 targetin 82.00

on an intraday basis, i look for trades like these...
If we have a lot of resistance above market, and price pulls back upwards, i choose the line of highest resistance to enter a short....

Yes the 1.0160 level really did not provide much solace for new buyers I was saying By Friday parity is coming but they way this has traded overnight it could be here by the US close

This is a really telling in the SPX (S&P) chart if you draw a channel from the 4/2 top to the 6/4 low and do a simple 50% in the middle we closed below it yesterday. The dollar looks ready to head to 84.75. And most all commodity charts look ready for a dump as well..

i too caught the best of the SNB back in last year's summer around august...
i entered a long on USDCHF at 0.80 had to suffer a bit of tanking to 0.75 or sth before shit started shooting all the way up ot 0.92... i enjoed the full ride of it.... delicious winning lol
but like i said.... Intervention trade is a test of patience....
Christmas came early that summer lol

dont you know China's under fire right now to be the role leader to keep global economy strong??
im pretty sure China's under pressure even from abroad to manipulat figures now just to keep people away form Panic short selling...

Actually tell me why China adjusted their Currency today weakening againts the Dollar??
Interest Rate, Lowered and interest rate band constricted lower? spells disaster for Australia....
even China has to Lower its Exchange rate to avoid a hard landing in their growth....

Watching 1,0120 for a bounce back, I am bearish overall daily and weekly says a lot from a tech point of view, I do have my target and it is far below parity,

BTW i got 1st Tp at 1.0110 gona agive it that extra 10 pips of over flow spike, call me greedy but 1.0100 is a psych level sooooo theoretically i could put TP there instead....
and someone things manipulated figures coming out of china is good enough to stop a world fear of global economic downturn causing a worldwide risk off sentiment....

Hi guys. First time commenting on this thread. I am a mostly techs trader and on an intra-day view.....i still hold a LONG sentiment. Why?

1) Using ichimoku analysis... the dark blue line (Kijun Sen) being inside a bullish cloud means that we are ranging but inside a bullish sentiment at least over the last 80 hours.

2) Price action is largely being played above the H4__200EMA (gold line in chart). Bullish bias. See the hefty bounces on 25th and 29th.

3) We are at the bottom-most part of the cloud (also a hint of reliable support). Shorts normally cash out at this spot. (for now its 1.0125)

4) Finally....the stochastic oscillator is at the 20 area.....signs of a fizzling bearish push.


I do not write off any more dips but at this point they would not be stronger than a bullish push. Hence the reason i closed my shorts and added onto the longs. I favor a retest of 1.0275 (top of cloud and where the last bullish action halted). I am giving it another half a day time frame. Happy trading but let me hear what you think guys.

I like that report touting Loan demand yet its mixed in with a lot of shadow banking where rates are unjustified..You gave an optimist piece why the AUD and china are going Higher here is a pessimistic piece

The fact remains is AUD is going to Parity and those who are saying it will be at 1.04 in no time I wish I can directly take the other side of that trade in the marketplace. .98 is very plausible as we just where trading at .96 area less than two months ago

PS.....I am absolutely biased towards the downside as the charts are broken from ES, to commodities and Friday will be the point where we see those longs revalue their positions if they still have a balance in their account.

dont get me wrong i share the exactly same view as you do, i just eliminated the s/r lines from my chart just to simplify its view

Nice to meet you I don't know much of ichimoku analysis but will look at it more It might be a fizzle b t were now in between the 78.6-88.6 level of trading so on the lower end we could push to .0125 then form some base looking at ES this morning and its trading from yesterday this could be a whippy day until GDP numbers tonight

Watch PA about 1,0120 if she fail to bounce - close them longs straight away - How could you buy newly formed Lower High when it was falling down - is beyond my imagination - not hating here btw.
